Welcome back Pointblank! :)
Great to see you back online. Let us know if you need anything.
Britt Hume has done his homework. When Jindal complained that FEMA had not stocked the superdome with food and water, Brit immediately interrupted Jindal and asked: "Is it not the responsibility of the local government to stock a shelter"?????
That's right, they used crowbars to pry the storage facilities open when they all broke in there.
That is the most exposure I have ever had to Jindal. I was not impressed. Sounds semi-hysterical and flinging blame all over the place. You have to watch yourself when Brit is doing the questioning. Jindal upset FEMA didn't have provisions in the Doom. Brit says wait a minute, why FEMA, isn't that a local responsibility? Jindal's response: There's plenty of blame to go around. Not responsive.
TWC...got it. I already know I can't count on ESPN.
Wot a loser - Jindal, just another Rino - girlie man "intraoperability" - beaurocratic jingoism.
dontcha just love Brit Hume though?
was engine still hot
What did she say? I couldn't bring myself to watch her?
It may be homework or a rare display of common sense.
If she's really that dumb, she's fronting for someone who isn't.
Too many touro-dollars down there for the top of the heap to be a slobbering idiot.
Either we are seeing a facade, or else this boob is having her strings pulled by someone else.
Hume did good background piece with Brian Wilson - control in disater is bottom up, not top down.
Then he interviewed Jindal. Jindal is blaming FEMA and red tape. I believe the red tape part, but when Hume asked about stocking the Superdome, Jindal satarted with "I don't know why FEMA didn't .." at which Hume interrupted and said "Isn't that a local responsibility?" Jindal's response was very predictable. We've seen it 100's of times in the past week. "Now is not the time to point fingers, we need to rescue, blah blah blah."
I wonder if anyone has that recorded - that needs to be preserved for the ages.

Fox showing the buses!!!
All this gooey prayer pap. Reading badly. It was just awful.
Oh there's plenty of space at the Convention Center, but would it turn into a hellhole like the Super Dome? I was thinking safer, semi permanent locations to house families.
This ties in with the fact that the buses were not made available by the mayor for evacuation.
Brit Hume and Fred Barnes of Fox showing picture of buses (many times shown here on FR) - in N.O. - now flooded - that were not used to transport evacuees out of the city.
There it is!!!!!! The buses underwater picture. First time I've seen it on TV.
Thanks Brit!
