Hume did good background piece with Brian Wilson - control in disater is bottom up, not top down.

Then he interviewed Jindal. Jindal is blaming FEMA and red tape. I believe the red tape part, but when Hume asked about stocking the Superdome, Jindal satarted with "I don't know why FEMA didn't .." at which Hume interrupted and said "Isn't that a local responsibility?" Jindal's response was very predictable. We've seen it 100's of times in the past week. "Now is not the time to point fingers, we need to rescue, blah blah blah."

How hard is it to say, "Ya now, you're right. We messed up. We dropped the ball somewhere along the line. But We're the leaders in charge, lets try to fix the problem thats there now."
