In yet another embarrassing setback for the Bush administration, a dramatic shortfall of video footage of the deceased Justice Rehnquist was evident on Saturday night as news outlets were forced to repeat an ad nauseam cycle of the Justice's limited video appearances without showing anything new or interesting. "Unpreparedness of this magnitude is what we have come to expect of these right-wing ideologues in the White House" was a common theme of comments offered by Democrat officials familiar with the matter. Sen. Edward Kennedy (D - MA) blasted the administration as being caught flatfooted in a situation where it should have known that the Chief Justice "could have drove off the bridge just about anytime."
DNC Chairman Howard Dean blasted the Bush administration for diverting media attention with this "so-called sham Chief Justice death report" just to divert attention from its conscious genocidal inaction in the New Orleans disaster; a disaster which it had conceived in the first place by having Jeb Bush put just the right Florida obstacles in Katrina's path to ensure that it would hit New Orleans dead-on. Knowing that New Orleans is 67% black and Democrat, Bush would score the triple whammy of eliminating many black folks, embarrassing the Democrat city, parish and state leadership in spite of their stellar performance, and diverting attention from the administration's failure in Iraq. After that was accomplished, the death of a major figure was an ideal way to dial down attention from the major coup accomplished in New Orleans.
Democrat operatives supported the view that this Chief Justice thing was just a diversion from the issues that really matter. The Rev. Jesse Jackson, reached at his hotel suite in Chicago, called this "just another blatant attempt at changing the story from the failure of Bush to -- wait LaTonya, I'll be right with you -- to protect the citizens of New Orleans and ratchet up the -- LaTonya, no, wait! -- ratchet up the rhetoric to put a bunch of knuckle-dragging Neanderthals on the Supreme Court."
Democrat consultant James Carville painted a dark picture of conspiracy, claiming that the Chief Justice has been on ice since 12 May 2005 just to be paraded out as needed to cover up a crisis as has occurred now. Carville claims that Antonin Scalia's driver has been acting as Chief Justice since that time.
Republican operatives, in retreat, have pledged to provide all available footage of the Chief Justice and make up any that doesn't exist to placate the media. A full-scale background search on Scalia's driver is reportedly underway.
Do you write for the local SF paper? ;^)
Rev Al Sharpton called Rehnquists death a diversion from evidence leading to the racist aftermath of Bush's Hurricane Katrina efforts. "We will not let the suffering of blacks be swept under the bridge."
DemonRats have the same relationship with President Bush as Captain Ahab had with his whale.
I ask my wealthy, liberal friends; how much have you contributed to New Orleans flood relief? What steps have you taken so that you will not need public assistance during the first week of a crisis? What preparations has your local (liberal Democrat) government made to assist you in an emergency situation?
And also, God save us from "efficient" government.

LOL!
The really horrible reality is......that there ARE Democrats capable of doing exactly as you "report"...
Names that come to mind: Kennedy, Schumer, Durbin, Clinton, Conyers, Maxine Waters, Jackson-Lee, Jesse, Calypso Louie, Sharpton, etc, etc.....
There is no shortage of imbeciles in the DNC...
Semper Fi
Aaarggghh - how did I fail to include Calypso Louie in this thing ... LOL!
This'll be some fun theater - I got my popcorn and Juniour Mints ready. I suppose Kennedy is stocking up on bourbon and scotch in anticipation of the Big Show that he'll be expected to put on.

Did Tubby Teddy really say this? This is a sick joke , right?
I guess Chappaquiddick is always on his mind.
Funny piece! BUMP
No, but if he were sober he probably would have ...
All joking aside, sympathy to his family, and God rest him.
