Did they say where they are taking them?
Thanks LadyBuzz for giving me a laugh this morning. It is sorely needed. :) I'm still steaming over last night.
Is that right? Yes. I suppose we have stupid people everywhere.
The media must now allow the welfare society members to be blamed either. The consequences of the democrats' socially-engineered dependency on government for blacks must not be questioned.
Of course, this discussion is a bit premature, while the city is still being evacuated.
Looks like Fox will have Geraldo next. Mark my words, he'll take credit for the evacs at the CC that are now taking place.
I'm angry at him because he had to KNOW that those people had food and water, and her hysterically reported a falsehood.
I am sticking to my tin-foil claim (as alleged by other freepers) - that Blanco was under orders from the DNC to "go easy" on maintaining civil order, to hameper the FEMA efforts, so they could turn the "failure" around on Bush politically. the way the media and the Dems have moved in lock step to politicize this, tells me it was centrally planned. Blanco can't possibly be this stupid.
If this was a staged event for media or local consumption, that fact will be buried. Something else will become more important. The media is not an honest self-critic.
The Watch Dogs were barking up the wrong tree. <- A broader look at the media
In the main, I agree with you. I will add that the total area affected is only slightly smaller than the state of Minnesota.
"FEMA briefing now - the evacuation of the convention center has begun."
Excellent news!! There are 20,000 of them there.
FNC cut the FEMA briefing coverage.
Well, I like your post except the part about burying the dead. Don't bury them in NO. Put them on trucks and get them out.
no surprise there, that's the DNC playbook on this.
If a human being of any nationality whatsoever is shooting at firemen, policemen, other SAR personnel or innocent citizens, he has made himself an enemy.
Taliban John is an American.
I can't understand your position.
I abide by the maxim to not ascribe malice to what can be explained by stupidity. In her case, ego as well.
The DNC will cover her butt, but I don't think they directed her action. Landrieu, OTOH, I would believe that woman would orchestrate mayhem for political gain.
Local consumption? You mean the people on the bridge around him?
I would think they would've all had to be in on the fraud "hiding their food and water" for the cameras to catch.
I don't think the misery is staged in New Orleans, if you do then you may win some sort of cynic award.
What about sending buses from every major city in the country, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Philly, etc, to Houston. Those cities pick up the tab for gas, provide the buses, and we help get some of the evacuees spread out across the country. Most of the the people are likely to have relatives in those other cities and we help lighten the future load of Houston, and Texas.
Last night BOR did half of his segment on the failure of the Governor of LA in this whole debacle. She didn't ask for more forces in time; not real planned evacuation; she hasn't been "engaged."
