Couldn't Sharpton & Jackson as Black leaders encourage the people in New Orleans to stop shooting at the people organized to help in the rescue effort or is that to politically incorrect or culturally insensitive?

  The post was about how hard it is to explain to children how wrong the looters actions are without sounding like a racist.

My reply was going to be

Say to your child "close your eyes."

"Vision all the people in the act of the crime larceny and shooting at rescue workers."

"Think about how those actions are an obstacle to saving peoples lives."

Now "Imagine all those people were white."

Apparently only 14% feel our President is doing a good job while 61% can't see past the finger pointing.

DU has voted many times & with all the BUSH BASHing on the MSM....it's not surprising.

But why hasn't anyone asked the N.O. Mayor...why he didn't use all those school buses to evacuate people? Why were the buses unused and left to drown?

Bush declared a state of emergency and Naglin had two days notice to evacuate but he sent those poor people to the SuperDome.

What a depictable lack of leadership on his part!

Bush just appeared with the Mayor and Governor thanking them for all they've done (huh?). Our President is clearly a man who has learned to turn the other cheek and disregard the noise from incompetent finger pointing idiots.
