I heard a black legislator on FNC with Neil Cavuto yesterday who said that of course people were looting; they were trying to survive.
Neil didn't point out that they were stealing more than food and water to survive. Nor did he point out that the shooters were trying to stop rescue operations and raping and murdering women and children.

Cafferty said that - he was referring to a slate.com article today. Darn liberal Complainers. Certianinly not my first choice for a dinner party guest.
By the way - I met Wolfie a couple of years ago (I had no choice, it was at a function)- I swear he can't be more than 5'3 or4" tall.

Maybe Wolfie is really on top of the story. In NOLA, there is a political and social component to one's degree of 'blackness,' and those who are less so have been viewed as a more favored class.
I may get flamed for saying this out loud, but it is true. Same thing exists here in ATL.
