I wanted to thank everyone who replied to me with regard to the use of my son's name at Arlington West. I have gained much strength by viewing so much support. Derek was always happy when he was "on the mish" or mission. Usually these missions were classified but involved helping the Iraqi people help themselves. I have e-mailed Dan Abrams, O'Rielly, etc. for some coverage on the use of names. I have not heard a reply. I hope it is o.k. to use this forum to ask some of you to do the same. IMHO, this is a great use of this forum, debbieargel ~ we can certainly rally the power of our voices to cry out against these anti-American filth abusing the good names of our service men and woman in the advancement of their propaganda!

Thank you. The media can't ignore the voices of many. Happy to see you are the wife of a Marine. My father was in for 27 years and met my mother (A Navy nurse) after he was shot on Iwo Jima. Semper Fi!

Thanks for writing to the news. I know Derek is proud that each of us are for the morale of the troops. That is why he never visited an Arlington West. He wondered if the organizers would like their names on a cross for the public to view.

I'm finding it highly effective to contact reps and Sens over Debbie Argel's, and our concerns. And if I get "blather" from any, ("It's just a name..." Sheehan has that right; public domain") -- I'll ask them if they'd like me to publically quote what they'd just said to me. On blogs, the internet, and talk radio.

She would like to have some media coverage of the unwanted use of some of our fallen troop's names by cindy sheehan.
