My mother used to joke about people not having enough sense to come in out of the rain--Harrigan meets that description..

Or when the Lord said brain he thought He said
rain and went inside.

Ed Reams of WDSU: Daylight seen through roof of Superdome. Reporter has sense a big piece is about to "peel off." Something like a 1/12th slice of the pie.

I am focused more on the fact that eyewall replacement was responsible for Katrina's almost immediate intensification from a Category 2 to a Category 5 storm while out in the Gulf.

I stand corrected, there are about 50 of these pumps, they are 14 ft. in diameter in Orleans Parish.

Hmmm, well that's a good sign. I'd rather they be on the ground than anywhere else.

It also helps if they've got 4 tires on the ground. :-)

I believe the Superdome has leaked before and been patched. Bet the leak is where it was patched before. Just a guess, though.

And not a bad one...

CNN: WDSU reporter on the inside of the Superdome can see daylight looking through the roof. Predicts that roof may be peeled off.

Yes if you start seeing police vehicles in the air, then the eye wall has arrived.
