Category 4 Hurricane Katrina is approaching landfall in Eastern Louisiana. At 4:00AM EDT the storm's center was about 90 miles south of New Orleans.

Take on medium sized dirty ashtray (at least three butts)

In shaker can mix:

butts and ashes

three quarter ounce cheap vodka

Ounce and half Myer's Dark Rum

One ounce Bacardi Silver

Half ounce Grenadine

Juice of one lime and one lemon

two tablespoons of granulated sugar

A dash of Orange Flower water

A drop of Mango bitters

Shake ingredients with one ice cube and strain into dirty ashtray.

There would be, I would think, if that French Quarter levee had busted as we heard reported. Seems there is a breech along the river in the "9th Ward." Don't recall where that is but it could be further down the river outside of New Orleans itself. Someone else can help me here. The area where flooding is possble from the lake is actually in Metaire and I believe Kenner, so that could be causing some confusion. That area is very low and they could be getting clobbered from the lake breech AND the river.
