Dinny the roadside dinosaur has found religion. The 45-foot-high concrete apatosaurus has towered over Interstate 10 near Palm Springs for nearly three decades as a kitschy prehistoric pit stop for tourists. Now he is the star of a renovated attraction that disputes the fact that dinosaurs died off millions of years before humans first walked the planet.
Dinny's new owners, pointing to the Book of Genesis, contend that most dinosaurs arrived on Earth the same day as Adam and Eve, some 6,000 years ago, and later marched two by two onto Noah's Ark. The gift shop at the attraction, called the Cabazon Dinosaurs, sells toy dinosaurs whose labels warn, "Don't swallow it! The fossil record does not support evolution."
The Cabazon Dinosaurs join at least half a dozen other roadside attractions nationwide that use the giant reptiles' popularity in seeking to win converts to creationism. And more are on the way.
"We're putting evolutionists on notice: We're taking the dinosaurs back," said Ken Ham, president of Answers in Genesis, a Christian group building a $25-million creationist museum in Petersburg, Ky., that's already overrun with model sauropods and velociraptors.
"They're used to teach people that there's no God, and they're used to brainwash people," he said. "Evolutionists get very upset when we use dinosaurs. That's their star."
The nation's top paleontologists find the creation theory preposterous and say children are being misled by dinosaur exhibits that take the Jurassic out of "Jurassic Park."
"Dinosaurs lived in the Garden of Eden, and Noah's Ark? Give me a break," said Kevin Padian, curator at the University of California Museum of Paleontology in Berkeley and president of National Center for Science Education, an Oakland group that supports teaching evolution. "For them, 'The Flintstones' is a documentary."

A suggestion: Do some research before you post material from the ICS. They keep pushing stuff that science moved on from 50 and more years ago.
Ken Ham (Creation Institute) addressed this issue very well. The dinosaurs that came from small eggs, needed lots of time to grow (hundreds of years) into the giants we know through the fossils right now. Therefore to fit the dinosaurs with all the other creatures, he believes that the young were taken on board by "Sevens" (for Clean Animals) and "Twos" (for unclean) as the record states.
Ken also said that he didn't have to bring every type of dog into the ark, just a set that had the genes to bring out all the variety we see today.
Thus if the young of family types were brought on board, they would not consume as much space as the giants.
Note: Other than Animals brought into the Ark before the flood, the condition of man is also known "The thoughts of man was of only evil continuously". After the flood wars and evil continues but mans longevity is severely declined.
Genesis 1:1 says: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep...
The Hebrew word for was, is became, without form and void Hebrew word "tohu va bohu", vain waste. Isaiah 45:18 says God did not create the Heaven and Earth "taho va bohu" same Hebrew word used in Genesis. The first verse of Genesis allows for all kinds of life (dinosaurs), God created in the first heaven and earth. And we are not told how many years or centuries that earth existed. Something happened to the first heaven and earth maybe when Lucifer, the morning star, tried to overthrow God and took a third of the angels with him and was cast out of the heavens. Isaiah 14:12-15
I do agree that is what is Written. Yes about Isaiah, but didn't want to overload the donkey cart.
Don'tcha just love how creationists use the ICS to back up their claims? Circular reasoning at its best. /sarc
Here's a good link showing the "credentials" of the ICS and it's "scientists":

While you point that finger of accusation you got three pointing right back at yourself.
I'll put more stock in what that great man taught than I will in all the phony ICS degrees and pronouncements you can lay out.
Time is a physical property that God created. Time is an element of our space time continuum. God exists outside of a past, present and future ie. inhabiteth eternity. Einstein's Theories on Relativity have demonstrated that time is a physical property relative to mass and acceleration. Within our 3 dimensional reality the faster something travels the slower time is.
Care to tell me where those numbers come from?
65 million years ago, is that a guess?, is it a theory?? Or is there some proof of this dating?
What if I said, nope not 65mya, 650 bya, how would you prove me wrong? what if I said 6,000 years ago, could you prove me wrong with hard data?
But, of course you weren't there, nor was I but I have a book written by God, who was not only there, He recorded it for us. And I will jsust ahave to put my faith in the God's written word, the Bible over a flimsy out of thin air dating system on rocks.
If Adam competed with the raptors - Adam lost.
"I'll put more stock in what that great man taught than I will in all the phony ICS degrees and pronouncements you can lay out."
Following man great or not is NOT Whom we are instructed to follow. Christ not flesh man, and evolution to be believed does in FACT remove the perfection that we are instructed is Christ.
An entire mountain of geological, fossil and dating evidence that is accepted by the vast, vast majority of people with advanced degrees in the relevant scientific areas.
Could they all be wrong? Sure. Anything is possible, I suppose. But the massive weight of all the available evidence leads to the conclusion that humans and dinosaurs did not live at the same time.
LOL! Don't forget the trilobites!
Yes, thanks for proving it.
Then they died off in a cement flood that created seaweed.
Ever seen a trilobite fossil? Those critters existed 300 or so million years back. Ever hear of Mesosaurus? A little reptile from the Permian....found only in two places: Holland and Brazil. Care to explain how that little critter can be found in identical sediments on two different continents? Here's the tough part: You can't use ICS "interpretations" of the Bible and you can't use a deus ex machina. Give me a RATIONAL explanation for Mesosaurus. How about Edaphosaurus? Found in the red sandstones of the Permian Basin in Texas and in Czechoslovakia. Care to explain away that one? Try the therapsid series....found in the Karoo of South Africa and in parts of Russia. Give me an explanation that doesn't rely on a "great flood" or other form of catastrophism, since CATSATROPHES LEAVE GEOLOGIC EVIDENCE AND THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF A GREAT FLOOD.
How did I prove it? I am not the one giving grade school science lessons to adults nor am I the one answering questions with 'cute' remarks. One would think that you would not feel so threatend by such simple questions.
