Ken Ham (Creation Institute) addressed this issue very well. The dinosaurs that came from small eggs, needed lots of time to grow (hundreds of years) into the giants we know through the fossils right now. Therefore to fit the dinosaurs with all the other creatures, he believes that the young were taken on board by "Sevens" (for Clean Animals) and "Twos" (for unclean) as the record states.
Ken also said that he didn't have to bring every type of dog into the ark, just a set that had the genes to bring out all the variety we see today.
Thus if the young of family types were brought on board, they would not consume as much space as the giants.
Note: Other than Animals brought into the Ark before the flood, the condition of man is also known "The thoughts of man was of only evil continuously". After the flood wars and evil continues but mans longevity is severely declined.
