Spy at Camp Casey
Ankarlo Mornings Klif 570 ^

Posted on 08/26/2005 10:23:32 PM PDT by A Texan, too

Darryl Ankarlo of Ankarlo Mornings Klif 570 in the DFW area of Texas has a spy at Camp Casey. He's pretending to be one of them although he says it is a very hard thing to do.

Darryl had him on the radio this morning describing some of the things he's seen and heard while there. You can hear the podcast here. http://www.klif.com/podcast.asp
It was the 4th one down on the list the last time I looked. He is talking to "Michael".

It's something everyone needs to hear as some at Camp Casey are telling him their real agenda. And, it's not about Cindy.

Is it Daniel Flynn? He loves to do this kind of stuff. It makes for great Talk Radio bits.

Sounds a bit sneaky and underhanded to me. Same level as the DU trolls who often sneak in here. I don't like sending "spies" and things like that; sounds to much like something a liberal would do.

Sometimes it's necessary to fight fire with fire.

Who cares if Libs want to watch what's going on in Free Republic? Would it change the way you post in here? Let them lurk. If any Freeper gets out of line with racist, profane, or whacked out ideas fellow Freepers and the mods take care of them pretty quickly. We are hardly the uncivilized group that hangs out at DU.

You don't fight fire with fire, you fight fire with water. I just hate to see people on my side sink to their level.

This needs to be sent and reported to Fox News, Rush.

I'm OK with that, but it's all just hearsay unless he's rolling a video camera or tape recorder. For all we know the "spy" has never been out there and is just making it up and phoning it in from the comfort of his home.

Even George Washington knew when to use mis information and espionage during the American Revolution.

Can't beat humint: human intel. I don't know how else one would get it.

I know of several senators who pretend to be Republicans. Why not go after them for their deceit?

True, and listening to it, when he talked about his cover, I thought..... his cover is blown now.

I can imagine your logic being applied in WW2.

"Spy? Us? America on Germany? Why, that's something that only those underhanded Nazis would do! We're too good and proud to gather information."

In half-jest, I recommend placing an order for a backbone as soon as possible.

I agree...we've got nothing to hide....

Let them know our real agenda: the return to a constitutional government

Then why do trees get burned to prevent forest fires?

I love espionage too. 9/11 made it painfully evident that we need more of it.

That is when the C.I.A was at it's best many years ago, when they relied more on human Intel than their fancy gizmo's and high tech gadgets.
There's nothing wrong with going under cover to catch the bads guys, the police and the F.B.I do it all the time, and there's nothing wrong with going under cover to get the truth.

Come on, people. Who in the world cares what is going on at "Camp Casey?" It should be of no concern to us. Why do we need "insiders" and "spies" to find out what's "going on in secret?" We know what the agenda is. Why would we do this silly thing?

Exactly, he made no attempt to disguise his voice, and he described an exchange he had with a CNN reporter, who can easily ID him now so why not name the reporter? This whole thing smells like BS, perhaps even a setup.
