FreeRepublic.com had an excellent Freep tonight of Code Pinkos. WE SUPPORTED OUR TROOPS! Someone else will do the full after action report. Here are just a few quick photos. We outnumbered them about 100 to 25 by my estimate.

I got there late (about 9:00) due to prior commitments, but it was still quite the crowd when I arrived. The soulless freaks had already tucked their tails and run by then. LOL! But it was still great spending an hour or so with all you patriots. And I've got all next Friday evening blocked off so I won't miss a minute!

You are right about people filling in for BillF, but now admit it, The Press Coverage didn't hurt!

I'm concerned that such counter-demonstrations play into the hands of the anti-war crowd. You wouldn't be concerned if you were out there and saw the gratitude on the faces of our wounded soldiers, their families, and the staff at Walter Reed. Not to mention the incredible support given to us by passing traffic.

Wrong! BillF asked if someone could come out and take his place as he wouldn't be able to be there. What a great response. BillF must have a lot of FRiends. I think it's pretty obvious that Bill's presence has been depressing turnout.
Just kiddin' ya big lug! :-D We missed you! Hope to see you next Friday.

It is time to tell everyone we all know to show up to support the troops on Sept. 14th in DC. They will rent the buses, get the box lunches, and pay them money to show. We have to beat this movement down. I agree with you on all but one point.
It's September 24th, not 14th. We don't need a bunch of lost patriots wandering D.C. ten days early. :-p

We eventually shamed him into coming over to our corners (at least for a little bit).

Angelwood, made the scene with some Club Gitmo gifts - thanks for the hat. I second that emotion.

The CPNN guy (Code Pink News Network) did take some footage of us in front of the WRAIR sign. I also noticed him in front of the MOAB.
About 90% of the time, when i did notice him, he was in front of the drooling lefties.

what really brought tears to my eyes was seeing the bus that brings the troops home from a night out coming back. It stopped at the ligtht in front of the gate and we all started a USA chanted the soldiers were waving and giving us the thumbs up - it was great - and I was not the only one with a lump in throat and tears in my eyes!

The "supposed" CNN cameraman almost got hit by a car RUNNING over to the PINKOS corner when they whipped out a candle. The woman with the "Mother of an Iraq Vet" was holding the candle and they all huddled around her - and the cameraman stood with them for 2-3 minutes filming their "vigil". It was pathetic!
We laughed and since no one had candles - we were thinking of alternatives. Someone mentioned they had flares in the back of their car - LOL! We figured we didn't need a "vigil" - our show of support was the best!

W04Man--It was a pleasure meeting you and all the rest of the DC Chapter last night! It was even MORE of a pleasure watching the Spam (they're pink, therefore they're spam) go home early. I can't make all the Reed events, but I'm going to try to make at least once a month.

What are they supposed to do? Sit back while the Code Pink protestors demoralize the wounded coming into the hospital?
