FreeRepublic.com had an excellent Freep tonight of Code Pinkos. WE SUPPORTED OUR TROOPS! Someone else will do the full after action report. Here are just a few quick photos. We outnumbered them about 100 to 25 by my estimate.

That was an awesome tribute.
Holy cow! Seeing all of you lined up out there supporting our troops and shouting USA! just brought tears to my eyes.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU, for taking time out of your busy lives to go stand out there and represent us all. You are all awesome! I wish I could give you all a big hug!
Thanks W04 for the quick sneak preview. I was guessing at 100 to 20. Do you think that's close?
Thanks Angelwood. You're a dearie.
We did this on 3 corners when the charter bus brought the troops back from dinner at Fran O'Brien's. It was amazing. The driver stopped halfway through his left hand turn, sitting diagonally across the intersection, and let the troops take it all in. Seeing our soldiers looking at the outpouring of love and support is all it takes to commit to being there for them every week!
The stills, were taken long before the masses arrived. There was a "crowd" on all 3 corners by the time it was in full swing.
I am MORE CONCERNED that the LACK OF a counter-demonstration will end the way the UNCHALLENGED anti-war protests ended in the 60's and 70's!!!
As 3D-Joy said, our troops love and appreciate the fact that we are there. Nothing else to say...it is all that matters.
%%%%
Media hype of the anti-war protestors is counter-productive to the Dem party. Between 1968 and 1992 there were only 4 years of a Dim president. What Americans saw in '68 and '72 convinced many that national direction could not be put in the hands of dems.
Only 2 years after Clinton got into the White House, Americans decided to put Rs in charge in the House of Representatives. They are still in charge.
The anti-everything-positive demonstrations have been shrinking every year. I see that shrinking trend continuing. Who wants to be associated with losers? Not as many people, evidently, since the coverage of their protests have been shown on CSPAN, etc.
Attaboy
AMEN to that
Thank you, Angelwood. Would you please post or message me how to ping the chapter?
Um, no. They would very much like to be the ONLY group outside of Walter Reed, and the only people outside of the DC recruiting station, so our opposition is definitely not "playing into their hands".
Anyway, screw what Code Pink & Co. want. Bottom line, the soldiers enjoy OUR presence there, and they deserve that little bit of enjoyment, so showing up at Walter Reed once or twice a month is the least I can do.
Saw one professional looking camera someone said was from CNN. Cameraman spent the entire time I was there with it pointed to the Code Pink corner. Heaven forbid he show the other three corners of the intersection covered with FReepers!
I love the MOAB. Good job, DC FReepers! Our soldiers deserve to see support from their hospital windows, not protests. Y'all are great!
September 24 will be their swansong - not that they will disappear, just that ANSWER, NION, Actup, CodePink, PLO sympathizers et al will be even more fringey than they already are.
Thanks so much for joining us! It was great to meet you! I can only hope that last night was representative of America, 3-1 for the troops!
Wrong! BillF asked if someone could come out and take his place as he wouldn't be able to be there. What a great response.
BillF must have a lot of FRiends.

I was already beaming after watching the video, but hearing about this...it just makes my heart swell! God bless all of you who went out to show our support for our vets! (And another big THANK YOU to Fran O'Brien's!)
Thank you for the video clip. It's great.
