Holy cow! Seeing all of you lined up out there supporting our troops and shouting USA! just brought tears to my eyes.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU, for taking time out of your busy lives to go stand out there and represent us all. You are all awesome! I wish I could give you all a big hug!
We did this on 3 corners when the charter bus brought the troops back from dinner at Fran O'Brien's. It was amazing. The driver stopped halfway through his left hand turn, sitting diagonally across the intersection, and let the troops take it all in. Seeing our soldiers looking at the outpouring of love and support is all it takes to commit to being there for them every week!
The stills, were taken long before the masses arrived. There was a "crowd" on all 3 corners by the time it was in full swing.
what really brought tears to my eyes was seeing the bus that brings the troops home from a night out coming back. It stopped at the ligtht in front of the gate and we all started a USA chanted the soldiers were waving and giving us the thumbs up - it was great - and I was not the only one with a lump in throat and tears in my eyes!
