Guest Chef Spotsybelle

For the freedom you enjoyed yesterday...
Thank the Veterans who served in
The United States Armed Forces.

Looking forward to tomorrow's freedom?
Support The United States Armed Forces Today!

Welcome Troops, Veterans, Military Families, Allies, and FRiends!
Tomkow twisted the chef's arm and made all kinds of burka-related threats demanding that the Canteen celebrate National Waffle Day. Thank goodness this day only comes once a year!

On this Day
1869 Cornelius Swarthout of Troy, New York patented his invention -- the waffle iron

Born on this Day
1905 Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup, delta blues singer and guitarist;
best known outside blues circles for writing songs later covered by Elvis Presley such as "That's All Right Mama" and
"My Baby Left Me"

On this Day in History
79 Mount Vesuvius, east of Naples, Italy,
erupted and buried Pompeii

On this Day in History
410 Rome was overrun by the Visigoths , led by King Alaric; although no longer the official capital city, Rome's fall to Alaric symbolized the end of the Western Roman Empire

On this Day in History
1814 British forces under General Robert Ross
sacked Washington, DC, burning the Capitol and White House

On this Day in History
1989 Gambling Pete Rose was permanently suspended from
Major League Baseball for betting on the games

Don't forget the syrup!
PANCAKES next Wednesday
definitely, troops!

Pants rescue or ...? Zack Shultz is either helping Chris Bush avoid losing his shorts while plunging into the James River near Richmond, Va., or performing a rare flying wedgie.

LOL I have four ports on the motherboard, a 4-port pci card and two 4-port externals on this system. So many external devices I can't believe it! Where will it end?

I can't understand it myself, as to why people in this country that control the MSM, want to see America's downfall. If America falls, they will be the first to lose their heads! The war against international terrorism is the biggest challenge this country has ever faced. Literally, the future of the civilized world is at stake. So why the MSM has their heads in an ostrich hole is way beyond me. Also, if they think, by getting rid of Bush the threat will magically disappear, is nothing more then a bad dream!!!

This definitely calls for a celebration on Friday!....don't 'cha think? :o)

I don't think they think. They're all in a stage of arrested adolescence, rebelling, irresponsible, don't see how the world works...
