To Bush; Takes Pro-War Items

Mimi Evans, spokeswoman for 'Military Families Speak Out'(mfso.org) in Crawford, Texas is reporting that the Secret Service refused their anti-war letter addressed to President Bush but they did take items from the pro-war people there.
NBC News was in Camp Casey this morning but they left today leaving no mainstream media present.
Camp Casey is now comprised of two camps -- one 3 miles away from the Bush Ranch and the other camp is a mile away.
There are about 100 people there now.
Country rock singer Steve Earle performed there this morning with 60's folk singer Joan Baez scheduled to perform tonight.
Author, Liz Carpenter, who served under three President's is expected to arrive in Crawford soon to support the anti-war activists.
Exactly, It was at 48% on rasmussenreports today. Its the same old crap they tried before the election. It just doesn't work anymore.
RealPlayer is nasty spyware. I'd recommend removing it, and trying RealAlternative.
What are you trying to do, ruin their lives?
As I have said many times before, these are the very people who wanted to destroy this country back in the 60's, and now they're back to finish her off.
I love Real Player and I've used it for years; it's never given me one bit of trouble.
Let's also not forget that her group is not the REAL Gold Star Mothers that was established long ago, and they dissasociate themselves with her on the front page of their website
Can you explain to Humidston and me what Pol Pot has to do with any of this?
I'd recommend not even watching it :P
When he said that they were scared of us that was a real laugh. One look at this video tells you who the scary people are.
The Extreme Make-over team would have had a field day at that 'concert'.
Shades of the '60's with all those maggot-infested dope-smoking hippies whining about peace. What LOSERS.
Wait till they see our caravan rolling, rolling, rolling into Crawford next weekend! We'll have them shaking in their army boots!
LOL!
Joan Baez is a folk-singer who was the darling of the anti-Vietnam crowd, and was rumored at one time to be Bob Dylan's main squeeze on the side. I believe her song "Diamonds and Rust" was about their affair.
I saw Joan Baez in concert on the Sunday evening preceeding the 2000 election. Her music was wonderful, and she did not mention ONE WORD about the upcoming election or any other political matter.
I was gratefully surprised. She is one hell of an artist.
I am begging all of our women that join the Crawford caravan, PLEASE, don't forget your make-up bag. And remember this rule above all - Thou shalt not wear flowers in your hair.
Thank you in advance for making us look good because I know you all will :)
Oh, don't worry! I was just trying to help someone with a nasty piece of spyware. ;-)
"dope-smoking hippies whining about peace"
I think we should put them on a bus and send them to Iraq.
They could report back with their findings and recommendations
If you don't watch, please, let me draw a mental picture for you. Close your eyes. Then conjure up a re-run of sweaty stinky people, under a tent, swaying and clapping to a folk singer's tune.
Then picture those plastic cups of Kool-Aid being passed around.
Then laugh your head off!
Don't forget that their food is served up with those sweaty stinky hands!
...Gotta make our warriors proud of us!
I saw enough of it to remember why I hate liberals. For all intents and purposes, they RUINED college for a lot of us.
We were all having a great time, going to Chapel Hill to fraternity parties, going to clubs to hear the Motown groups, dressing up in our Weejuns and Villager outfits, trying to get an education so we can get jobs and get on with our lives -- and next thing you know, they're all dressing grubby, singing protest songs, doing drugs, and generally mucking up the landscape.
Even though I didn't know it back then, I think I was a conservative then -- I just knew I didn't like rooms painted black, especially if Joan Baez or Bob Dylan was playing in the backgroun. :-)
