To Bush; Takes Pro-War Items
Free Press International
by Greg Ericson
8.21.2005
Mimi Evans, spokeswoman for 'Military Families Speak Out'(mfso.org) in Crawford, Texas is reporting that the Secret Service refused their anti-war letter addressed to President Bush but they did take items from the pro-war people there.
NBC News was in Camp Casey this morning but they left today leaving no mainstream media present.
Camp Casey is now comprised of two camps -- one 3 miles away from the Bush Ranch and the other camp is a mile away.
There are about 100 people there now.
Country rock singer Steve Earle performed there this morning with 60's folk singer Joan Baez scheduled to perform tonight.
Author, Liz Carpenter, who served under three President's is expected to arrive in Crawford soon to support the anti-war activists.

Denial and delusion often warps the mind's ability to see the actual reality of failure...that in a nutshell describes the American Left.

Right. It's amazing. How many times do they keep repeating the same mistakes over and over? When I was a little kid I burnt my finger on a lit match, and guess what, I learned not to pick up a lit match!! These people are obviously not capable of learning from mistakes like I could when I was 2 or 3.
Well, their mistakes are our gain.

True, but Americans are not that dumb. Agree 100%. To the demise of liberals (to our fortune), they do believe that the majority of Americans are dumb and that they will believe the lies they tell them through their media whores. We do have few "knee jerk reaction" conservatives who also think that the majority of Americans are dumb and they will fall victim to the left and their media. Of course these few conservatives are very wrong.

Actually, I figured he was with the guy who was singing. Looked like he was trying desperately to get the crowd worked up. Watch how he tries to get them to their feet.

If Peter Paul and Mary show up .. I am gonna die laughing Oh great, just what we need .. the libbies commenting on what a great song "Puff the magic Dragon" is because of all the drug references. Someone needs to tell these idjits it is a song about growing up and losing your "make believe" innocence, not drugs.

My bet is in right now that we pick up a few more seats in 06.
They made a fatal mistake when they aligned themselves with these far left extremist groups.

'I think these people need to be reminded the Viet Nam war is OVER, and so is the sixties.'
You must've read my mind. As I was perusing the forum and came across one particular thread that involved 38 Democrats from the House of Representatives signing an open antiwar letter to President Bush on behalf of Cindy Sheehan, I thought to myself, "Those of us born in the 1960s are either approaching or already in our forties, Love Beads and Nehru Jackets have long since gone out of style, poor Sharon Tate has been in her grave for thirty six years, and both LBJ and Richard M. Nixon are dead. It's time to give up the ghost, people."

I agree with you regarding 2006 despite all the doom and gloom about potential GOP losses in the next midterm elections.

And one more point. If you look at the audience for CNN, MSNBC and CBS they are a drop in the bucket compared to FOX News. Hopefully they will get off the Aruba thing soon. Something else I noticed today, the presidents approval rating has gone from 44 to 48% in three days, and I don't think it is a coincidence

There were 75 to 90 drug infested maggots. You could nearly see the smell. Wonder how many gallons of Blood for Oil it took to fly granny Baez down there??

Is Steve Earle supposed to be famous? I mean, to the general population, not just in anti-defense circles. I checked his "hits" and don't recall them. He certainly doesn't look familiar.

For the Left the Viet Nam War and the sixties are NEVER over. They live in a perpetual time warp. They will never get over it. Peace, man.
