Crawford Texas: Secret Service Refuses Anti-War Letter
To Bush; Takes Pro-War Items

Mimi Evans, spokeswoman for 'Military Families Speak Out'(mfso.org) in Crawford, Texas is reporting that the Secret Service refused their anti-war letter addressed to President Bush but they did take items from the pro-war people there.
NBC News was in Camp Casey this morning but they left today leaving no mainstream media present.
Camp Casey is now comprised of two camps -- one 3 miles away from the Bush Ranch and the other camp is a mile away.
There are about 100 people there now.
Country rock singer Steve Earle performed there this morning with 60's folk singer Joan Baez scheduled to perform tonight.
Author, Liz Carpenter, who served under three President's is expected to arrive in Crawford soon to support the anti-war activists.
I think Neil Young supports the War on Terror. He wrote that song Let's Roll and the Santa Cruz, CA leftist nut cases have hated him ever since. Young lives in Santa Cruz (a former stomping ground of mine I was glad to trade for Southern Oregon last year).
Jeez, shades of Rocky Horror, 'I remember doing the Time Warp...'
Do these people realize the Vietnam war is over?
It won't play for me. Says I need to update realplayer and then it won't update.
I heard enough...when Earle started talking about repealing the Death Penalty, that immediately tuned me out. And was he actually serious when he said that those who've lost loved ones and support the war will come to join THEM (the Camp Casey Crowd) in protesting the war? Dude must've had a few hits of something before he went on stage. Delusional.
I wonder how many barrels of oil we could get from an old fossil like David Crosby?
Yeah, my wife won't watch anything Sheehan-related, and neither of us will watch any Aruba stuff, so Fox is mostly unwatchable right now.
They're claiming 500 people for the Joan Baez thing, but I'm not seeing any pictures of the "crowd".
Oh yeah, I do remember that...but I do hope he isn't ill or anything.
"60's folk singer Joan Baez scheduled to perform tonight. "
Aw Jeez, Not this B*tch again!!!
Baez lives in Carmel, CA, my former town of residence. I don't know which nursing home. Never saw her, don't even know what she looks like, don't want to find out (please, no pictures). The local leftist looney establishment still makes a big deal about her but few people really care...
do u have some more proof to that claim? neil young has always been a commie
We need that picture now, don't we? Not of Joan, but of the fellow massaging his aching brow.
Oh my.
That crowd looks like they should be cleaning up after the livestock at the Arkansas County Fair.
My first thought exactly!!! Maybe she'll dream of Joe Hill again.
Neil Young used to just go and hang out downtown. I don't know if he is ill, but I do know he was playing golf at Pebble Beach two years ago in some celebrity event.
The real key is to get musicians that people actually WANT to see!
If the promoters were doing this correctly, they'd have Duran Duran, Billy Idol and Wang Chung play at this concert.
It would be a Let's End the War Now!/1980's Flashback Tour.
Yeah, but when the media displays it, they show it from the ground upwards to make it look like a massive crowd.
When they show the "pro-Bush" camp they usually isolate one person so it looks like there are only one or two present.
