I have long suspected that he's in Iran. there is no way he could have lasted this long in Afghanistan or Pakistan. He is being protected by a government that is powerful enough to do so and neither Paki or Afghani fits the bill.

I agree...it's smart to pay close attention to Dr. Wheeler...he's got the connections...and usually a straight shooter. Some say he's a disinformation type of guy...I totally disagree with that.

I'm happy to see his name again. The last time was several years before the breakup of the Soviet Union. In an interview I read, he predicted that event with uncanny accuracy, at a time when no one else was talking of it.

This Sunni Shi'ite distinction is a fictitious condition propagated by the American Press. Islam is the culture and the different sects are the ideology. All of them are Muslim. The militant Muslims fight between themselves because they are Barbarians and none of them are true believers in the tenants of the Muslim religion. They all consider OBL a holy and religious prophet regardless of their Sunni, Kurdish or Shi'ite. Educated Muslims and true believers of Islam reject violence as a means to an end. The terrorist set aside ideology to kill innocents of all beliefs for their oppressive agenda. OBL IS in Iran and his day will come and so will the corrupt Mullahs who espouse violence there and elsewhere.

I think he is probably dead. I also don't think we have located all of Al Quaeda's sleeper cells in the US. I heard early on in the WOT that Osama's death could be a signal to unleash hell on the infidels so I don't think we would announce his death until we are sure where all the sleeper cells are.
