I think we may have missed a crucial point in this topic/issue: the money was already stolen from taxpayers to pay for something most hard-working people would not have paid for on their own.
As usual, the media leave that part out and most of overlook the "where did it come from" facts.
There are all sorts of thieves out there taking money from you and me for things we don't philosophically agree with.
