He will deservedly be on the receiving end (so to speak) for the next few years.

He is going to make someone a very nice wife.

This is going to make one hell of an episode of Law and Order: SVU.

A Dennis Rader wannabe gets caught early...
...hopefully it was early.
What is the probability that this was his first rape?
I sure hope it was.

Yeah...hopefully Mister Rapist is going to learn more about rape than he ever wanted to know, for the rest of his life.

In this case, they don't even have to change the race and sex of the criminal to a white male. (Maybe the perp oughta demand a partial writer credit.)

Story reads like a movie. Thank God she survived---and thank God for cell phones!

Why isn't castration and a frontal lobotomy a legal remedy for first offenders of this kind.
Then society would have nice, peaceful robots that wouldn't bother anybody.....This would work wonders for crime reduction if the castration was done on public TV like a tonselectomy or the like.

Well .. what are the laws like where he was caught - some of them get a slap on the wrist and turned out to perpetrate their ghastly hell on other women.

If my daughter is ever in trouble and calls the police, I hope they call me first. That should be standard operating procedure. She is a minor.
What a monster. There is no punishment great enough.

It has to be so gratifying to police to find her before the guy killed her. Sounds like the police unit there is sharp as a tack - and sometimes that's what it takes.

I seem to recall a story about cell phone companies not meeting a federal requirement that they be able to triangulate and determine the location of 911 calls from cell phones. This was at least a couple of years ago.
I would have thought that they'd have been doing that by now.

Yes, local law enforcement doesn't ever seem to get the credit they deserve. In this case, they probably saved her life. Prayers all the way around on this one.

A lot of cell phones do have this capability. When my husband was in an accident his phone locked up and had the tracking system on as soon as he called 911.

If this is, indeed his first such offence he will likely get at least a few months in jail.I am sure it will reform him.
