I hope and pray that our servicemen continue to be safe.

And that this is not the beginning.

The withdrawal won't work, we conservatives know that, libs are the only one's who think retreat works. You can't pacify nuts cases.

Any word on who these attackers were? Al Qaeda?

Sorry but I just awoke from a sound sleep at 2:30am after hearing the news on the radio in my sleep. Glad that none of our servicement were injured.

News said it happened at 8:45am local time. Ever notice that Al Qaeda likes "8:45am" as a time to attack?

Just the Arab street celebrating.

Israeli sector--roads, houses, gardens. This was what the Palis coveted, and got. Twenty years ago it was a desert.

Pali sector today. This is what Gaza will look like in 15 months.

Just another bunch of well wishes from your neighborhood terrorist element, who would be only too happy to have Israel and Jordan going at it.

"Missiles Fired at U.S. Navy Ship in Jordan, Airport in Nearby Israel"

By Jamal Halaby Associated Press Writer
Published: Aug 19, 2005

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "AMMAN, Jordan (AP) - Two missiles were fired from Jordan early Friday, at a U.S. Navy ship docked in a Jordanian port and at a nearby airport in neighboring Israel, officials said. No casualties were reported in either attack.

The U.S. Navy said a mortar was fired at an American ship docked in Jordan's port of Aqaba.

Israeli police and witnesses said a Katyusha rocket fired from Jordan fell on the outskirts of the nearby airport of Israel's Red Sea resort of Eilat, but did not explode.

Aqaba and Eilat are about 10 miles apart and located on either side of the Jordan-Israeli border at the northern end of the Red Sea close to the Sinai Peninsula.

The U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet based in Bahrain confirmed that a mortar was fired from Jordan at one of its ships docked in the seaport of Aqaba, missing the vessel but slamming into a warehouse on a dock."

You don't actually think this will get much coverage, do you? I'll be surprised if it's the major story today. So far, at least, it should be. Wait, it might be spun critically of Bush's policy of using Iraq as a terror magnet... no wonder the MSM have mentioned it.

Will keep an eye here since two other threads have been killed and then linked to each other's zombie.

Clearly, Israel just HASN'T DONE ENOUGH yet to satisfy them. Israel must do more! Israel must do more! /idiocy

It sure didn't take long for the 'great victory' in Gaza to be 'not enough'. Here it comes...

Marc Ginsberg on FOX said the kind of missles used could ONLY have come from Iran or Hezbollah.

This is really unbelievable- is anyone but FOX covering this? It's a major story- someone attempted to attack US warships.

Nothing personal, you see.

Israel blast follows Jordan explosion

What a stupid Al-Reuters headline, makes it sound as though Jordanians attack Israel and Israel retaliates (the Israel retaliation naturally leading according to Al-Reuters style sheet rules)

What really happened: Terrorist blomb goes off prematurely in Jordan, then they launch another one at Israel.

The Palis are such crazy, lazy maggots that a year from now that same beautiful street will be a desert of ruin once again.
