EMINEM has bowed out of public life completely-after suddenly cancelling a string of UK tour dates.
The hip-hop star, 32, yesterday axed his European Anger Management Tour, claiming "exhaustion."

I'm not big on the music, but I done some legal work for some of the folks over there. Plus there are a lot of babes on site after work hours, too.
I done = I have done. Damned ebonics!
This guy grew up in a crappy environment. I guess he could have just gone on welfare and been a bum like the rest of them. But instead, he overcame his environment and became an American success story. One may not appreciate his music or his style but so what. Evidently enough did to make him a very successul and wealthy man.
As far as his attitude, had I gone through the childhood he did, I'd have some attitude too.
A source said: He was already set to kill off the solo rap character hed created. Hes wanted to bow out for some time.
He hoped to retire after the tour. But his exhaustion has forced him to do it now.
Anyone who publicly trashes moby can't be all bad.
Save your pity. I like what I like, and no one says you have to like it, or like the fact that I like it.
I'd bet ten bucks no one dissing Mathers on this thread has ever listened to "Who Knew." Great song, and pointed social commentary.
He has a very fine tuned sense of humor and, despite the personae he gives off at first glance, he is no dummy.
Well, I live in Detroit and the 'source' is wrong. He just spoke on this over the weekend and his manager was on the news this evening. I guess anyone can buy into gossip.
The guy is a great satirist. "The Real Slim Shady" makes me giggle every time. My favorite part, from the first verse (the last four lines make me suspect he's got very closeted conservative tendencies):
Yeah, I probably got a couple of screws up in my head loose
But no worse than what's goin on in your parents' bedrooms
Sometimes I wanna get on TV and just let loose, but can't
But it's cool for Tom Green to hump a dead moose
"My bum is on your lips, my bum is on your lips"
And if I'm lucky, you might just give it a little kiss
And that's the message that we deliver to little kids
And expect them not to know what a woman's cl-t-r-s is
Of course they gonna know what intercourse is
By the time they hit fourth grade
They got the Discovery Channel, don't they?
"We ain't nothing but mammals..." Well, some of us cannibals
Who cut other people open like cantaloupes
But if we can hump dead animals and antelopes
Then there's no reason that a man and another man can't elope
But if you feel like I feel, I got the antidote
Women wave your pantyhose, sing the chorus and it goes...
I actually listen to rap, the decent stuff. I love the original rap song, "Rapper's Delight". Great beat to dance to and cute lyrics.
Eminem is a woman beating punk.
I would lay down my entire mortgage almost none of them have heard any of his music. And he is a lot more well spoken than most people think, along with having one hell of a business sense.
I agree w/you 100%...I enjoy him and his quirky sense of humour...I am a big over 40 Eminem fan.
Keep up the good work toots
How could he not be bored? His rap is crap; it is not music and will be forgotten in 10 years. 5 years?
You know you just caused about 45 embolisms to pop on here, right?
This is news for Enterpainment Tonight.
and I thought I was the only FReeper who didn't completely hate Eminem! He has done some very entertaining stuff over the years. He's definitely not for everyone - but in many ways not any more vulgar or politically incorrent than South Park. I was disappointed to see him jump on the anti-Bush bandwagon last year but I liked some of his earlier work. I'm not surprised he's retiring though. The nature of rap being what it is, it's hard to be an alluring performer after so many years of fame, especially once you've hit 30. Eminem will probably go into producing now, like so many other rappers, and make tons more money.
I didn't care for most of his stuff, but he did make a great point with "Without me"
Defending the homie, good...
Hey M&M... you're a hero... NOT!
I really liked "Lose Yourself", personally.
