Move America Forward will be conducting the You Dont Speak for Me, Cindy caravan beginning next week. It will feature military family members who have loved ones serving in the war against terrorism in Iraq or Afghanistan. The delegation will be led by Deborah Johns of Marine Moms. (Her son has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom).
Main caravan leaves from San Francisco, California on Monday, August 22nd. Other caravans will depart from around the country. If you want to be part of a caravan, email us with your name and location you will depart from and we will include in our caravan coverage so people in your area can depart with you.
Everyone arrives in Crawford, Texas for a giant We Support Our Troops AND Their Mission Rally on Saturday, August 27, 2005.
If you have a loved one serving in Iraq or Afghanistan and would like to join the caravan please contact Move America Forwards Robert Dixon: Robert@MoveAmericaForward.org
I plan to meet at WalMart in Waco as planned here:
"11:35am Meet supporters at WalMart parking lot at the intersection of I-35 and Lake Shore. [thats on the west side of I-35]
Wal Mart #1521
Interstate 35 North
Waco, Texas
"
I'm comming up Hwy 6 also. See 'ya in Crawford!!!
thanks for the update. The last time I accessed this site, I understood the plans were to meet about 11 AM at Wal-Mart - glad to hear those plans are still "go."
See ya
There was a soldier at Ft. Hood who has just come back from 9 months in Iraq. He called the local morning talk show, just before the 8 AM break. He said that the insurgents and Al Jazerra were using Cindy Sheehans picture as proof that the troops should leave Iraq. That was one of the best pro military comments ever.
I believe it.
I just posted an extensive account of a report by a "spy" that has been in Cindy's camp from a radio talk show host here in Dallas, Darrell Ankarlo...
I posted it on the Amarillo thread...it is revealing!!!
If ya'll go to www.klif.com, this afternoon after 1:00 central...and click on Darrell Ankarlo's site...
He will have a picture of Cindy that WAS staged, and he will also have the interview with "mike the spy" available for podcast!!!
I have been asked if I know how many people are actually AT Camp CAsey -- have there been any accurate estimates or counts taken?? And yes, I know, I'm being lazy to ask instead of scanning this entire thread....
I believe the correct number is "all of America."
You'd think that wouldn't you?? Apparently a caller on an Austin station was quoted as saying there were 2000 people there with Cindy. I'm thinking that's BS.
You know, one thing always annoys me about this stuff. The folks on our side generally are contributing member of society. Meaning we have families, jobs and obligations that keep us from running all over the country in huge numbers. The folks on their side generally are leeches and can run around protesting at will while collecting their welfare (pay)check that we bankroll. Of course their visible numbers are going to be larger than ours. But that's no proof that their actual numbers are larger.
Anyway...
I've run into plenty of nutjob liberals, and almost all have jobs.
There is a massive coverup going on of what is really happening there, but the conservative media are starting to blow the lid off it. I think this weekend will mark the "jump the shark" point for Surrender Cindy.
Doesn't surprise me one bit.
Maybe - but there are times - like now - when I wish I could figure out a way to join in. I have 4 kids, we own our own business which of course hubby is tied to about 18 hours a day and I have obligations at church over the weekend. I guess if I was free of those, then I could just gallavant. It's a frustration I have had for a while -- not that I'm looking to get rid of my family! LOL!
Thank you for posting this account.
I am not happy with what Cindy is doing. I fully support this caravan.... I also support us being in Iraq. I believe it is important and strategic for the safety of our country right now. It is an important front in the war on Terror.
That all being said, I was mad about this battle. I believe that the parents of the fallen troops in this battle have a legitimate beef with Bush on the fact that Sadr killed these kids, then we let him live, and stay in power! Gave him legitimacy. Now he is causing more trouble, and always will.
This fact should be what Cindy gripes about. All of us should. Her kid did the right thing. But, I have to say that our country did the PC thing in this case, and should be called on it.
I wasn't aware that this is the battle Casey died in. God Bless him.
Where is the link? Love to read the account.

Ankarlo did say that it might be this afternoon before they had the interview up...and some of the "staged" pictures of Cindy...
