Jewish Settler opens fire on Palestinians in the West Bank: Fox News Breaking Story
What are you saying? Now murder plain and simple is a bad thing?
You only say that because it's one guy. If it was millions who do the murder plain and simple thing, they become a people. The World toasts them. Their leader gets invited to the White House and is showered with praise and Dollars. Those trying to protect themselves from murder plain and simple become the bad guys, thrown out of their homes.
Ask Hamas today- and the UN, and the EU, and the US State Dept- if murder plain and simple is a bad thing.
Wow, the shekel's a lot stronger than when I was there.
BTTT
Nice backslap at an equivocation.
It's very common here amongst the now brainwashed......all cultures are equal...all religion is equal.. etc.
I doubt many will leave Israel. $150,000 to $300,000 as I understand it, depending on family and home size. Destinations vary. Individuals can relocate where they like. There are trailers and tents for those with no destination. Not much has been done for communities who wish to re-locate together as a group.
When were you there? I was living in Israel 1999-2001 and it was about $1-4NIS. If I could have gotten a 7 to 1 exchange I never would have left!
Zaka, they're right wing fanatics with beards aren't they. I wish they could tack some extra time on this guys sentence for feeding the peddlers of moral equivalence.
It's a shame to see Israel's own home grown extremists, like the one who assassinated Yitzhak Rabin, are alive and ready to open fire. So long as neither side has a handle on its nutjobs, there shall be no peace.
Low blow and totally uncalled for and even worse, it's not remotely an analogue.
Oh gee...that, that's too bad.
(sarcasm off)
I was there in 1990, just on vacation. I guess it was more or less during the first "intifada." I do remember it being pretty cheap at the time. I think you could get a soda for two shekels or a slice of pizza for about four. You can probably tell I was a teen at the time...
Finally a voice of reason on this thread!! I thought I had wondered into DU with all the Pali sympathizers .
There's no such thing as an "innocent" Pali.
When a man has deprived of his home, had his synagogue burned down and his dead relatives dug up, he has good reason to open fire..
Oh yeah, they are truly the Jewish Taliban! </extreme sarcasm>
I guess all the zealots weren't congregated in Gaza. This is kind of like criminals taking advantage of a riot by attacking somewhere else.

whatever it isn't it doesn't replace lives changed -psycholocial changes to kids and families-they aren't gettting a million bucks to go to the casino they have to REPLACE livliehoods and houses which aren't cheap-it means starting all over agin which isn't easy.
The Jerusalem Post does not hesitate to use the words "Jewish terrorism" (though it may not be appropriate here because the facts are not yet clear), but for western European papers and those in the US, it is not PC to use the term for Palestinian or other middle-eastern terrorists who routinely target Jewish and other civilians in the Middle-east and elsewhere.
That's right. There is no peace because of a dozen "nujobs" on the Israeli side canceling out the millions of "nutjobs" on the Arab side.
I predict there may be peace just after Israel is destroyed or Israel elects a "nutjob" PM. Whichever comes first.
Utterly disgusting that a couple of out-of-control nutcases can undo in one instant all the fine work that the truly peace-loving ZAKA has been doing for years. If anyone goes there in this forum, ping me. Seriously.Zaka, they're right wing fanatics with beards aren't they.
ZAKA is the heir of the Israeli doctors and soldiers who risked their lives to help the victims of the Second Hebron Massacre, and also of the Arabs who risked their lives to shelter Jews from the First Hebron Massacre.
A terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist. Islamic, Jewish, Christian, communist, or whatever. Beliefs do not make terrorists, and terrorists do not define beliefs.

True, so true.
Israel is much more expensive. A huge VAT is added to almost everything.
