NEW WINDSOR, NY-August 16, 2005 - Joseph Siragusa 20 traffic tickets in the time it takes some people just to find their car keys.
Police in the Town of Highlands, New York, say Siragusa broke just about every rule of the road. He was finally stopped by military police after a chase that topped more than 90 miles an hour. Siragusa was also cited for passing on the right, failure to stay in lane, drunk driving and possession of marijuana.
Siragusa might have been celebrating.
According to the Middletown Herald Record, Siragusa's three-year probation for grand larceny had just ended.
Naw! Ya think?
who is that?
I wonder if he asked the ossifer to hold his beer.
Looks like he's got another probation coming now...
That's always how I celebrate my probation ending. But I usually offer my probation officer out to paint the town red.
Ted Kennedy. 'Nuff said.
Probably Stewart Army Subpost.
"What we have here is failure to communicate."
As I was in the night court report room one night, I was talking to a San Antonio cop that was booking a guy with a suspended license that ran from him-
This one accumulated 35 separate traffic charges on that chase, in addition to the suspended license charge
Whatever became of lesser included offenses? If the military had jurisdiction, I suppose its codes might differ from state traffic laws.
State police yesterday arrested a man they say was going 140 mph in a 65 mph zone on Route 17. Police said a trooper clocked the man traveling "in excess of 95 mph" in a 2004 Lexus heading east on Route 17 in the Village of Chester at 6 a.m. yesterday.
The trooper chased the car, but the man refused to pull over, police said. The man finally stopped in the Town of Monroe after troopers say they clocked him at 140 mph.
Solomon Feder, 18, of Kiryas Joel, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, driving with a revoked license, reckless driving, speeding and a host of other traffic offenses. He was sent to Orange County Jail on $1,500 cash bail.
"MILITARY police? WTF?"
Highlands and Middletown NY are IVO Westpoint, Hence the MP's
Bad? Certainly. Worse? I dunno. Just about any high school girl has to be more dangerous than him. I knew a girl who smashed into a PARKED car.
The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust. A woman is either asleep or otherwise out in the front seat passenger side. The guy driving it was jogging up and down on Rt. 925. (in the background)
Witnesses said their physical state was OTHER than normal. The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.
The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they had the customer sign a waiver. While the plywood and 2X4s are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the back seat, which contains -- are you ready for this? -- 10 bags of concrete @ 80 lbs. each. They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs.
Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the back shocks were driven through the floorboard. The car, with FL plates (naturally), was headed for Annapolis, where the couple presumably planned to build a new house in which to smoke their crack.
