Ex-president Bill Clinton now says he would have taken out Osama bin Laden before the 9/11 attacks if only the FBI and CIA had been able to prove the al-Qaida mastermind was behind the attack on the U.S.S. Cole.
"I desperately wish that I had been president when the FBI and CIA finally confirmed, officially, that bin Laden was responsible for the attack on the U.S.S. Cole," Clinton tells New York magazine this week. "Then we could have launched an attack on Afghanistan early."
"I dont know if it would have prevented 9/11," he added. "But it certainly would have complicated it.
Despite his failure to launch such an attack, Clinton said he saw the danger posed by bin Laden much more clearly than did President Bush.
"I always thought that bin Laden was a bigger threat than the Bush administration did," he told New York magazine.

He just wants to fight for the 72 rotund virgins.
"I have a feeling that in a few decades after the entire world has finally acknowledged what Klintoon really was"
.... and did! Unfortunetly there are too many across the globe who are in denial or in agreement with Clinton. Even citizens of Italy took turns crushing Mussolinis skull in after he was hung, they had enough of his cr*p.
See link that has photo's of Mussolinis demise along with his traitorous clique.

So...If you thought he was a threat, and you obviously did, then why in hell didn't you do anything about it?
But I wasn't about to let anything stand in the way of getting my knob polished. (There, I finished his sentennce for him)
The narcissism of this man never fails to amuse me. Can't you just picture him back then, in the summer of 2000, sitting up in bed at night wishing he didn't have to move out of the White House?
I've often thought of this when the subject of the stolen WH furnishings comes up. It's almost as if his thievery was an act of defiance, much like a little boy taking his football home when his teammates won't let him play quarterback.
"Hmmphtt! I'll show you!"
This man is an absolute failure. Now he's attempting to act like a President should? More revolting is the possiblity of him being directly involved with the 9/11 cover up.
I have to puke now...
Oh brother.
And didn't they offer on more than one occasion?
I was sitting here trying to think of what I wanted to say about this ex-President of ours when I read your post.
"I swear you could squeeze Clintons head and you would have enough manure gushing out from his ears to fertilize Kansas!"
ROFLOL! That was just too perfect!
When she got on that committee, she took a bow and said that she wanted to be on that Committee so she would know what she is talking about".
She sent a Bazooka to every soldier at one base saying: "I know you guys are into this stuff. Enjoy". As the soldier took the wrapping off the little pink rectangle....
If he was a failure, why would anyone think Hillary will not be? In my mind, Clinton doesn't care if this comes out or anything else for that matter. It will kill Hillary's chances. Ah....Sweet revenge.
BTTT
I have been asking the same for years.
Thanks for this walk down memory lane. And as we walk, a few things have changed since 2000. For example in 2004, Robin Carnahan was elected Secretary of State in Missouri.
Clinton: I Would Have Attacked Bin Laden.....
..... If he were a fat intern cow. "Hey baby... you're kinda cute. Wanna play hide the cigar?"
"When she got on that committee, she took a bow and said that she wanted to be on that Committee so she would know what she is talking about"."
That is probably a true statement, considering what we have learned about "Able Danger", she sure was not going to have access to military intelligence from any other committee.
...you were!
Um...hm. Not interested in defending x42, butI am interested in historical accuracy. The confirmation came January 27, 2001, according to the sources I found. Assuming that's correct, Clinton wasn't President any more.
