Clinton: I Would Have Attacked Bin Laden

Ex-president Bill Clinton now says he would have taken out Osama bin Laden before the 9/11 attacks – if only the FBI and CIA had been able to prove the al-Qaida mastermind was behind the attack on the U.S.S. Cole.

"I desperately wish that I had been president when the FBI and CIA finally confirmed, officially, that bin Laden was responsible for the attack on the U.S.S. Cole," Clinton tells New York magazine this week. "Then we could have launched an attack on Afghanistan early."

"I don’t know if it would have prevented 9/11," he added. "But it certainly would have complicated it.”

Despite his failure to launch such an attack, Clinton said he saw the danger posed by bin Laden much more clearly than did President Bush.

"I always thought that bin Laden was a bigger threat than the Bush administration did," he told New York magazine.

Well, we need to post and tell everyone about these military guys when they come forward to blow the 9/11 commission out of the water.

We have the ability to work our skills to get this information out referencing every credible link that will become available to every message board, email and person we can contact.

We can only limit ourselves as to how loud we want to be about getting this out, and if these military guys come out, I will get busy everywhere getting this out.

This needs to be screamed from all the mountain tops and expressed with all the passion it should.

I agree with you and will add that Clinton was after the Noble Peace Prize. Starting a war with Muslims would not have set well with the UN and the anti-Americanism of the Peace Prize officials.

He was posing for his photo ops with Arafat and killing Muslims might have upset his number one foreign visitor (Arafat) if he had done that.

He had no idea at the time of that interview what Arafat was thinking, which was after his extra 6 months would have been up. If he was asked today how he could get Arafat to agree he'd still have no answer, 4.5 years after he left office.

Had he not held Presidential office, he would be most suited to hanging by the neck for all his treasons, but the office protected him being the people don't want their Presidents to be in history seen as criminal.

Oh how I wish I could believe that. Mostly I think he was protected by the media, more than the fact that he was President.
