Ex-president Bill Clinton now says he would have taken out Osama bin Laden before the 9/11 attacks – if only the FBI and CIA had been able to prove the al-Qaida mastermind was behind the attack on the U.S.S. Cole.
"I desperately wish that I had been president when the FBI and CIA finally confirmed, officially, that bin Laden was responsible for the attack on the U.S.S. Cole," Clinton tells New York magazine this week. "Then we could have launched an attack on Afghanistan early."
"I don’t know if it would have prevented 9/11," he added. "But it certainly would have complicated it.”
Despite his failure to launch such an attack, Clinton said he saw the danger posed by bin Laden much more clearly than did President Bush.
"I always thought that bin Laden was a bigger threat than the Bush administration did," he told New York magazine.
History will record that BJ Clinton was the worst president of the 20th Century because the terror cells planned 9-11 while he fiddled with Monica.
I wonder if his delutional ravings are the result of chronic STD?
Interesting that he talks about his awareness of Bin Laden just when we have learned about Atta & Able Danger.

I think this is just part of the DNC effort to diminish Bush's defender of the USA credibility.

I cannot for the life of me understand how Bill Clinton sleeps at night, after Kosovo.
He's postulating what he "would" have done, "might" have done, and yet look what he did when confronted with terrorism: he withdrew.
He wanted it to be a law enforcement matter. Clinton didn't want to have to do anything about foreign state-sponsored attacks on us. He wanted to let the economy flow and get BJs in the Oval Office. Those were his concerns.

Someone needs to post that incredible footage of Clinton with the crocodile tears when he noticed the cameras on him at Ron Brown's funeral - just to drive home the point of what a disgusting POS this creature really is. God help him.
Why did BJ fire that missile into Bin Ladin's camp?? What was it in retalliation for? Was it the USS Cole bombing?
