Too many people think that these DC "staffs" are a bunch of dewy-eyed interns, barely-post-adolescence political wannabees and part-time college students.

They are shocked to learn that the "staffs" are born-to-lose attorneys, hardened professional bureacrats, puffed-up academics and the usual sprinkling of "consultants" (out-of-work educated idiots).

My question is: how much salary and expenses did these 9/11 "staff people" get paid for this special commisssion's Potemkin investigation?

Somewhere, there must be an open record of the amount of taxpayers' dollars these professional oinkers slurped out of the public trough.

Since it now looks like the Commission's "work" will continue till the cows come home, the oinkers will apparently continue slurping till their sinecures turn into a veritable non-stop orgiastic feast.

Rep. Curt Weldon said today on Fox News that there are 15 unexamined boxes of documents(!), and now 11 witnesses(!!), (NOT just 1), who are willing to testify under oath.

He also is calling for 9/11 Staffers to be questioned under oath re: their evident negligence, &/or close-mindedness, &/or cover-up behavior, and/or stonewalling.

I'm assuming he's one of the Dem staffers, since he was with the Stimson Center(of course, I know what assuming gets me. :-)) The project working with UN. Will research more later to see if I can find out whose staff on the 9/11 Commission. He was with the Peace Operations Project between '02-'03(don't know how long before or after), and was mentioned as having helped edit a research piece on weaponization of space. The Stimson Center was founded in '89 by Blechman and Krepon. Krepon has been critical of Rumsfeld's space weaponization idea. He and Blechman have associations with Carter administration. Blechman was with Brookings Institute. Krepon with Dem. 6th District Washington State Representative Norm Dicks.
