CRAWFORD RALLY TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS LOCATION UPDATE

The Crawford Police have just notified me that our location for the Support the Troops rally has been changed.

Please congregate at the Crawford Civic Center, which is located in the 1000 block of East 4th Street.

Start time remains 12 Noon.

The new site is very near the first site we were assigned, so people going there by mistake should be able to see us and come on over.

Sorry about the last minute changes.

Isn't it amazing that we have gotten to this point in our society, that we are no holding "Pro-Troops" rallys vs the "Anti-Troops" Sheehan crowd?

Actually it's an improvement over the Silent Majority of the Vietna era, when the anti-american leftist fellow travelers had the field pretty much to themselves.

Not exclusively of course, I do remember something about Hardhats verse Hippies. The Hippies didn't turn out too well, except in the press of course, where the became the "victims".

He's gone already. But his signing up added another number to our cumulative registration total. Won't be long until we will have had over a quarter of a million persons registered at FR. Of course, for some their stay was short. Very short!

I know nothing about tons and tons of people. It maybe that some will still show that were orginially coming for the radio stations that were doing the support thing for the troops that was cancelled. Crawford gets a good bit of onlookers I think when the President is in town anyway.

I saw our local TV news and it looked like at least 2 charter buses had arrived, with lots of smiling people with flags milling around. Maybe I overstated it by saying "tons and tons," but it sure looked good to me.

If this many people came on a Friday, I'm thinking Saturday may just be gang busters and growing.
