This is the FAA accident report for the mid-air collision in Florida one year prior to the 9/11/01 attacks on the WTC and Pentagon (and PA).
I brought this up in the week of 9/11/01, but this story was apparently "lost" in the news at the time. There were subsequent articles on this topic, and where FReepers can still find them, they should be appended onto posts on this thread.
Some important points to consider:
the Saudi national who piloted his aircraft into the Piper Aztec commercial flight had received his pilot's license from the Phillipines
Early blogs at the time noted that the Saudi pilot was Mohamed Atta or Alhazmi's roommate (this point needs to be confirmed)
This was a 9/11 attack...9/11 of 2000, not 2001
The 9/11 Congressional Commission did NOT research earlier 9/11 attacks such as this one
The 9/11/01 terrorists received $100,000 wire transfer to Florida one week after their 9/11/2000 attack at Ft Pierce airport, on September 18, 2000 ( http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=complete_911_timeline&startpos=300#a062900transfer )
The Ft. Pierce 9/11/2000 attack was only 83 miles from the 9/11/2001 attackers' Del Ray beach condo
...and, this 9/11/2000 attack is relevant to the new discovery that *LAWYERS* in the Clinton Administration prevented Able Danger intel (and other information) on these terrorists from reaching the FBI (read: Gorelick's Wall).
....and what about that crash Howard Hughes had in the 1940's? Come on, guys, your tinfoil is showing.
Description from Vero Press Journal
"The Saudi pilot, Ameer Abbas Bukhari, 39, was a student at FlightSafety International in Vero Beach. His single-engine Piper Cherokee slammed into a twin-engine Piper Aztec on a clear day, according to National Transportation Safety Board reports.

They are immune to polygraph because their belief system commands them to lie.
1.) The collision was accidental
2.) The Saudi pilot was in training to pilot a commerical jetliner in a 9/11 type attack.
3.) The 9/11 date was chosen in his "honor," with another pilot taking his place (obviously!)
4.) The money drops after this accident were to encourage continuation with the "big plan."
That's what I'm thinking too.
And here's an Aztec; it's a beefier twin-engine plane. 250 HP and a bit over twice the max weight of the Cherokee.
Thanks for the link.
...Only because Able Danger's June 2000 report (and earlier 1999 note) on this cell was being squashed by Clinton Administration Attorneys.
That's the sub-point behind this thread...that besides Able Danger's identification of these terrorists in 1999 and 2000, that one of them was involved in a suspicious air crash.
For our corrupt intel agencies (i.e. those outside our military), the 9/11/2001 perpetrators were exposed by no fewer than 3 things: the 1999 Able Danger note, the 2000 Able Danger report that *named* Mohamed Atta, and the 9/11/2000 mid-air crash that was traceable to Atta's cell.
The public finally knows about the Able Danger reports. Free Republic is now exposing the third (so far) element of the Clinton Coverup: the 9/11/2000 mid-air crash by one of Atta's cell.
That's the *brother* of the 9/11/2000 pilot who passed the 2001 polygraph (think about it), not the Bukhari who died in his mid-air collision on 9/11/2000.
But the ID's of *both* Bukhari's, the brother and the pilot, were used to rent the car that the 9/11/2001 hi-jackers left in Maine.
Uh huh? If there was an opposite of chicken little you'd be it.
Bukhari was in Florida for 3 months, crashed his airplane into another on 9/11/2000, roomed with his brother and one or more of the actual 9/11/2001 terrorists, and it was his ID that was used, after his death, to rent the car that the 9/11/2001 hi-jackers left in Maine.
You've got the FAA report here on his mid-air crash, the FBI report on his ID and the Maine rental car, and the CNN report of the FBI searching his brother's apartment and polygraphing his brother.
That's "tinfoil" to you?! Looks more as though you are burying your head in the sand...
Excellent summary
Thanks for the ping Vel, I do appreciate it.
I agree with you completely, Hack. I hope you don't think I am dissing your post or point. Not in the least, just remarking to it from a 9-12-00 point of view. As for the sub point of Opn. Abel Baker and its being snagged by Clinton Administration policies, we are also in accord.
However, I am even more cynical than most on this thread. The origins of treating domestic espionage as a legal issue , rather than a national security issue, dates back to the early days of the Cold War when Americans were freely traveling abroad to share secrets with the Soviet Union. The "Wall" that Gorelick maintained had been in some form of existence since the Rosenberg/Hiss cases and was designed to protect American citizens engaged in espionage for the Soviets. The Clinton administration was populated by Red Diaper Babies and even though there was no more USSR, the Left still felt the need to be protected from the FBI/CIA. The same partition that protected American communists from arrest, protected the 9-11 hijackers from being found out.
IIRC, the major spy cases of the last 15 years were busted by military intelligence, rather than the CIA or FBI. The Cinton Administration hated the US military, so I don't think military intel would have ever reached the Oval Office and it seems it didn't. Now if the 9-11 conspirators had been US citizens of the majority (for now) US ethnic group, they would have been caught before 9-11 BY THE FBI! The political correctness of the Left was all that these 19 Muslim illegal aliens needed to pull off the crime (so far) of the Century.
It is bureaucracies and the Left that are the most prone to political correctness. I think that's two of the reasons why we're conservatives.
This wacko thread is gonna get archived and hooted all over the likes of DU.
I fully support you, Hack. I hope we see some very prominent people go to prison regarding this information.
Very interesting. Your theory that this could have been a loyalty test is quite plausible. A video of the ten men mourning would be the perfect way to telegraph both the completion of the test--and the successful assembly of the players--without raising suspicion if it were intercepted.
I propose a test. Someone should post it on DU. Give it a title like "FR wacko theory". I will wager that it is removed within minutes and the poster will be banned.
.To make this seem like a deliberate act is the tinfoil part. The faster Aztec apparently crashed INTO HIM, and the tower operations were largely at fault for the accident, as you will see if you read the FAA report you mention.
I am not saying he wasn't a part of a plot, but the airplane incident discussion is tinfoil talk, IMO.
