This is the FAA accident report for the mid-air collision in Florida one year prior to the 9/11/01 attacks on the WTC and Pentagon (and PA).
I brought this up in the week of 9/11/01, but this story was apparently "lost" in the news at the time. There were subsequent articles on this topic, and where FReepers can still find them, they should be appended onto posts on this thread.
Some important points to consider:
the Saudi national who piloted his aircraft into the Piper Aztec commercial flight had received his pilot's license from the Phillipines
Early blogs at the time noted that the Saudi pilot was Mohamed Atta or Alhazmi's roommate (this point needs to be confirmed)
This was a 9/11 attack...9/11 of 2000, not 2001
The 9/11 Congressional Commission did NOT research earlier 9/11 attacks such as this one
The 9/11/01 terrorists received $100,000 wire transfer to Florida one week after their 9/11/2000 attack at Ft Pierce airport, on September 18, 2000 ( http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=complete_911_timeline&startpos=300#a062900transfer )
The Ft. Pierce 9/11/2000 attack was only 83 miles from the 9/11/2001 attackers' Del Ray beach condo
...and, this 9/11/2000 attack is relevant to the new discovery that *LAWYERS* in the Clinton Administration prevented Able Danger intel (and other information) on these terrorists from reaching the FBI (read: Gorelick's Wall).
FWIW:
...Further examination of the damaged airplanes showed two diagonal slashes on the bottom-side of the Cherokee at a position near the right wing root, and at another position several inches inboard of the right wing tip...
The slash marks on the underside of the Cherokee's wing indicate he either descended onto the Aztec or the Aztec flew under the Cherokee.
Tinfoil hat?
Somewhere today I read the Saudi pilot was Atta's roommate.
Governments HATE multi-billion dollar impacts on the economy
Clinton hates any bad news
Amer Bukhari was his name, maybe.

That's exactly right. They like to get 'em and train 'em young. John Walker Lindh is a perfect example.
See Post #94.
Speaking of Y2K, whatever happened to Jethro Tull? Not the band but the hysterical doom-and-gloomer who was predicting the end of the civilized world on Jan 1, 2000. He also happened to be a big Jets fan.
Thus the reason for Clinton's Executive Order for the Military to remain silent about TWA 800? It is still in effect.
That's quite a prognostication.
I have a few questions:
1. How many people died?
2. Who were they?
3. If both pilots died, how could one of them be Mohammed Atta, who later flew an airliner into the WTC?
4. What leads the poster to think that this was an intentional collision vs. accidental?
5. How could a collision between 2 small airplanes possibly be compared to 9/11, which killed 3000 people and cost our country billions of dollars?
I have a question...
wasnt there a mid air collision with a private plane and a cargo carrier plane in Florida?
And have we checked the fight manifests of that value jet that went down in the everglades?

Note, that I'm not discounting the theory that the Cherokee pilot was a terrorist-in-training. I'm just noting what the description of the physical evidence says to me.
As I wrote, the physical evidence present on the Cherokee are consistent with the witness marks left by spinning propeller blades. The horizontal spacing of the two sets of slash marks would also be consistent with a twin engine airplane like the Aztec.
(...Further examination of the damaged airplanes showed two diagonal slashes on the bottom-side of the Cherokee at a position near the right wing root, and at another position several inches inboard of the right wing tip...)
The fact that the slash marks are on the underside of the Cherokee indicate to me that the Cherokee was above the Aztec at the time of collision.
This could've occurred due to the Aztec flying under the Cherokee or because the Cherokee descended onto the Aztec. Whether the Cherokee pilot intentionally crashed into the Aztec is impossible for me to say.
But, according to NTSB accident statistics, something like 75% (or more) of all mid-air collisions occur within 3 miles of the runway and most of those occur at the approach end of the runway. So, this accident fits neatly into that pattern.
Bukhari's brother, Ameer Bukhari, died in a small plane crash in Florida last year,..
No, I saw it. However, at the time of the accident on 9-11-2000, the future was unknown and a blind wing descent into another aircraft is not an unusual accident in General Aviation. To be sure, had there been an investigation at the time, BY THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION, this accident possibly could have led to the entire 9-11 conspiracy. But as the accident stands on its own, in its own position in time, it gives no hint to the 9-11 conspiracy and this particular collision was (seems) to be totally accidental.
Furthermore, can anyone imagine telling any government authority what these ragheads were up to a year later on 9-11-2001 and being believed. It's too bizarre for the year 2000. Too career breaking, pension threatening, election loosing, for the bureaucracy to take it seriously.
When they start playing dumb, like this guy's deception that this incident puts Atta in the plane when no one suggested anything of the sort, it means the Islamocrats are very worried about any focus on this incident.
