Spencer to Pirro: Lets Discuss Your Liberal Record
BUFFALO, NY Today, Republican and Conservative Party candidate for the U.S. Senate John Spencer sent congratulatory flowers to Jeanine Pirro at her official launch press conference.
The note to Pirro, whose stance on social conservative issues is similar to Hillary Clinton, says, Jeanine, Congratulations on entering the U.S. Senate race. I look forward to discussing your liberal views. Sincerely, John Spencer.
Mr. Spencer, a Vietnam Veteran, plans to run on the Republican and Conservative party tickets and will officially announce his campaign in early September.
Mayor John Spencer, 58, served as Mayor of the City of Yonkers from 1996 until 2004. Yonkers is the fourth largest city in New York and saw great prosperity, redevelopment and environmental cleanup under the leadership of Mayor Spencer.

Paid for by Spencer for Senate
This campaign isn't about issues. It's about slapping Her Heinous around as hard as possible.
This should be good.
Dumb stunt reinforcing an image of Republicans as sexist Neanderthals.
That's very unfortunate but, I think you are 100% right ...
It doesn't hurt to try to shove Pirro to the right a bit, before she gets the nomination.
Why? She jumped into this fray. I thought women were up to the challenge, why tippy-toe around things? Sounds like a decent challenge to me.
Agreed. Pirro will never become President. Supporting her campaign is a strategic move to ensure Hillary doesn't either.
Regards, Ivan
Mr. Spencer, thank you for being a patriot and outstanding American. Since you cannot derail the Hildebeast, I am sorry to say I can't support you. I would like to have you win, but I am far more interested in beating Hillary in this race. Good luck in your future endeavors.
The other thing is, realistically speaking, being a "liberal" Republican in the state of NY isn't a badge of dishonor, unfortunately. Pirro, however liberal her positions, probably represents the mainstream of Republicans in NY. Am I wrong here?
FYI..for those who don't know..Yonkers is like a little slice of the worst of New Jersey..corrupt, broke, failing..being mayor there for 8 years disqualifies him from driving a school bus
You asked if you were wrong. Yes, yes you are wrong
I'm not a New Yorker but that seems to be the deal. That's why shillary is going to have more trouble (look like)coming to the middle where Pirro is already there. Just a big dirt fight. I guess this Conservative wants media face time.
That's all we need is a lib calling herself a Republican. NOT good at all!
Pirro has charisma and is extraordinarily articulate. I'm not a New Yorker, but I'll take another Republican Senate seat to get closer to a filibuster-proof majority, even if she is a bit liberal.
My sense is that this lady will connect well with New York voters. It will be fun watching Hillary squirm to figure out which way to go next. I wouldn't be surprised to see her decide not to run for re-election as senator, and spend all her shekels on a run for the White House instead.
articulate? Watch her on the campaign. Talking about prosecuting bad guys is one thing, not having answers for reporters on tax policy, spending policy, second amendment rights issues - where she has described herself as both for second amendment rights and against them on the same day, just like Partial Birth Abortion. That is real articulate
No problem at all with him challenging Pirro to a debate. Bring it on! But sending flowers is an attempt to put her in her place as a woman, IMO.
Wouldn't that be funny. She should get beat up pretty good if she runs. I think she will be weakened some if she pulls out too.
