He certainly stole "Aladdin" from Robin Williams. In fact, he was the only good thing about "Aladdin."

Maybe this'll clear things up:

Gilbert Gottfried was the voice of Iago, the annoying parrot, in "Aladdin". Abu, the thieving little monkey, was actually based on Al Franken.

Gilbert has reduced me to hysterics many times on Stern's show. A comic genius.

Correction: That's "hairy little thief" according to this site >>> http://www.abu.angels-prevail.com/

Maybe someone with PhotoShop can enhance the Al/Abu connection.

Current Level - Hemorrhaging cash like the Exxon Valdez

Next Level - Spewing cash like Teraysa Heinz at the Shoe Carnival.

See my speculation about that in the more recent thread:

They still have more charities to raid.

Any truth to the rumor about his first job being the merger that will become known as:

The Air America/Don Imus Dude Ranch?

All great radio networks have to purchase their own airtime on their "flagship" stations. For example there's Air America, etc. etc.

I was just re-reading your post, and your highlighting of the words "incredible talent" made me realize that this guy was being honest. Doesn't "incredible" mean the same thing as "not credible"?

Maybe you're think of un-credible. Incredible in common usage means top notch, peak, highest, hard to believe it's so amazingly good, etc.

I highlighted it because of the guy's obvious lack of discernment when it comes to judging 'talent'.

Oh well. I was just trying to find a good heart in the guy where none existed.
I did the same thing when I found my wife.

He says that Air America talent has no credibility.

...to the next level...

Well, next level up?

or next level down?

How are we defining levels?
