Today I encountered PETA protesting at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I just could not let this stand unopposed so an emergency FReep was let loose on the PETA morons, much to the delight of the business owner and local ranchers........

I've been dying to encounter some PETA nuts so I can kick their asses. I make my wife wear several animal pelts to the mall, we eat chicken, go to zoos, the whole nine yards - but no PETA. :o(

"Reminds me of something I did after getting a ticket when I was seventeen. Placed my self about 1/4 mile up the road with a sign that said "speed trap ahead"! I got arrested, jailed and fined $500, no free chicken. LOL I do this regularly, only for the schweigenhalten, the hated and feared roadblocks to sniff all drivers. They never do anything to me, except threaten, since the alleged purpose of the schweigenhalten is publicity, and surprise is not supposed to be an element.
These so-called "sobriety checkpoints" are unconstitutional in at least 14 states and banned in others. Not so in California. Recently Fresno has stepped up their use. Absolutely no probable cause to stop me, the tea-totaler, because someone else may be breaking the law.
"We will begin the roadblocks during the holiday season, when the ----------- people are in a festive mood and most likely will not object." Joseph Goebbels, 1933(blank is German).
They have arrested me for trumped up charges, however, but that's what a body of law called "arrest without probable cause" is all about, and yes I won.
Only trouble with KFC is their use of hydrogenated oils which cause heart disease. If a clown dressed as a clogged artery showed up, I might respect the picket line.

Love the cole slaw, though, made with miracle whip! Still, ever see the way those farmhands toss the cabbage heads into the trucks! Talk about cruelty!

Somehow, I can see Eaker or Humble doing this as well. I think we'd have run down to the meat market, grabbed some
materials and demonstrated raw-steak-bites-and-horseradish appetizers for 'em!
Although brandishing drumsticks was pretty impressive, too!
Of course, somebody would use my coffee as a threat and everything would cave in.
No cave in, they just resurfaced the KFC parking lot with it.

Hey lesko! I do remember you, and I left you on my ping list for just such things as this. One of my customers called me this morning to tell me about the photo on the front page. I still have not seen it and it is not on the papers on line version. A few people in Cheyenne are saving it for me, I guess it shows me eating chicken in front of PETA. GOOD!
I hope life is treating you and your family well.
All the Best!

Since our last visit there, they redesigned the place....I had one of those special bonding moments where we both knew the other was saying, "Don't dare laugh, no matter how hilarious it is." Invite your neighborhood PETA protester to a place like that.....You guys, are great...I have a niece the same way. :(

I know I'm a photo-troll but I'm still hoping...
FReeps like this one against PETA used to be the bread and butter of FR back before 2001. I still think that JimRob's regular FReeps against Condit helped drive him from office.
The power of FReeping like this can't be overestimated. Sometimes it accomplishes little. But there are times when public opinion is teetering and a well-placed demonstration can really tip the balance for us. FReeping is the public challenge to the antics of the Left which makes people really think and choose, rather than drifting to the liberal media's favored policy. The classic examples are the Clinton impeachment and the Battle For Floriduh. And FReeping played a prominent role in both landmark events.
FreeRepublic is FReeping.
