FReepers, please excuse this vanity post and my quoting anybody who appears on the ridiculous Alex Jones Show. But that Cindy Sheehan thinks the U.S. is immoral and says so during any broadcast is despicable. Her attack on the morality of our country is condemnable, and her observations about terrorism are utterly foolish.

Sheehan also said during another portion of the interview, "You know, um, the terrorists hate us because of our Middle East policies and that's plain and simple. We change our policies to make it more fair for everybody and, um, that's when terrorism is going to stop."

That ignorant and false comment eerily echoed the recent videotape by Osama bin Laden's chief terrorist, Ayman Al Zawahiri. Whose side is Mrs. Sheehan on?

Well, parts of it are certainly irrational and stupid.

Evidently.

Calling the United States "immoral", she says she doesn't want to live in a country like this

We have a very free emigration policy; she is welcome to leave for anywhere else that is willing to take her.

Clearly she is cracking up and breaking down. Sad, but it makes for great television...

"SHEEHAN: "I don't want to live in a country like this. "

Then leave. By the way, I hear the weather is nice this time of year in Saudi, they're very moral there. Don't forget your burkah.

Ironic that she's using the very freedom her son died protecting to tear down the country. I imagine he would be ashamed of her behavior.

"""she says she doesn't want to live in a country like this and is ready for jail. ""

I believe this is a non sequitor. Why so much attention paid to this wack job??

Reminds me of yesterday, my wife arrives home, soaking wet from a rainstorm. Tells me she is wet and hungry so she needs a shower. (??) Of course she is learning english (Native Russian speaker). But this makes about as much sense. Good for a laugh.......

Sound like I quit, its my ball and I'm going home..

We should sympathize and buy her air fare. Provided that it is only one-way.

I'd bet almost anything she could search high and low and find some moral Taliban or other fidel to cozy up to if she heads for Tora Bora or Faluja or some such.

There have been 1833 fatalities to date and the MSM has found one parent our of 3666 who is against the war and hates Bush.

I wish FOX or some other television network would profile a family every night who has lost their son or daughter.
There must be literally THOUSANDS of proud parents out there who would gladly tell their story!

Kelly

I'm sorry for the loss of her son, but does that give her the right to all this attention? So who gives a flying fig what this lady thinks of our president or our country? She is a lady who needs some therapy to help get over the death of her son.

Tell me, oh omniscient Miss Sheehan, what country should we look to as an example of moral behavior? France? Germany? Iraq? North Korea? Mexico, possibly? Luxembourg is certainly a possibility... and don't forget Spain- they've legalized gay unions! And Canada- socialized health care has been a great plus. Don't forget- they honor American deserters up north too.

So when you can show me a truly more upright and morally strong nation, then I'll listen to your ignorant rant.

Looks like she's made the final leap to pure leftism. She is now the highest authority in the universe, as is each leftist unto itself, and now she can proclaim us immoral.

I don't mind the vanity. This is a weird story. It seems to me like a sad situation. Someone in this woman's family needs to comfort her and get her to quietly go home. Her grief has obviously made her irrational.
