If the school is completely private and receives no taxpayer funding whatsoever, then the school should be free to set whatever admissions policy it feels is just.

Why? Even private country clubs don't enjoy that protection anymore.

It is interesting in this case, because I have been to these schools, and they are very rich with every facility a student of teacher could desire. The kids enroll in grade K and matriculate to graduation with the same kids. Obviously a school system anyone would want their kids in. When I was there I was unaware that it was native only. It looks like Political Correctness may not have made an inroad on the islands.

I agree. I may not agree with the school's admission policy but private groups in our society should be able to define their own terms of association. Think the Boy Scouts. But the Left, led by the august worthies of the Nine Circus, wants every one to be "coordinated" and march along to the government's tune.

I am with you. I fail to read anywhere in the Constitution how the federal government has been granted the power to force a PRIVATE SCHOOL to bend to it's will. But here is a question, what law or authority or penalty has been granted to the government to make them comply? The can't cut off funding because they receive none.

Yes, and you can just BET that if someone started a private school exclusively for NON-aboriginals that the abos would torch it in a new york minute.
