It started with our thread on June 7th of this year, called Mission: Possible!, and a follow-up thread on July 12th & 13th, titled Ready ~ Set Tables ~ GO!
I am so proud today to present some of the work of six of our Finest Freepers who took those two threads to heart and have been creating their own beautiful table backgrounds ever since. None of them have seen the others' tables, and all of them have been anxiously awaiting this day to see what the others have done. :)
All I can say is: "Prepare to be impressed." As an added bonus, you also get to meet them 'cause I asked for their photos, too!

Lori, Marissa and I arrived home very late Saturday night. Why am I working on this table, you ask? Because Billie is a tough task master.
Dutchess finally gets a real bear hug from Lori. Dutchess then joined us for breakfast and a fun visit to the Columbus zoo.
Attending a great picnic lunch organized by DollyCali were OhioWfan, Commiewatcher, Boxerblues, Dubyaismypresident, Mama_Bear, JustAmy, Dr.Deb, PrissyMissy, MollyPitcher and DollyCali. The food was delicious and the wine was wonderful..
After lunch, we toured the Stan Hywett Mansion and Gardens. This was a beautiful setting to meet and get aquainted with new Freeper FRiends.
We arrived in West Virginia to a WARM welcome and good fellowship. MrWVNan treated us to a good ole southern breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy. yummmmm, yummmmm We found a couple of other places to sample WV cooking as witnessed by the above pictures: Top: WVNan holding babychick, scubachick and Mama_Bear. Bottom: MrWVNan, WVNan, unidentified local, Mama_Bear and Its_me_K.E.T. enjoying White Castle burgers.
Dutchess and DollyCali met us for lunch before our flight home on Saturday. It was a time for relating our experiences and reflecting on the super Freeper Friends that we had met.

"For my son, who is in the United States Air Force." ~ LUV W
HIGH FLIGHT
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds--and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of--wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long delirious, burning blue, I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew- And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high untresspassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.
~~~~Pilot Officer Gillespie Magee~~~~ Killed 11 December 1941
A Tribute to our awesome Troops and the USA!!!
Good Morning FR Finest.
I chose a patriotic theme for this thread,because it is important to me that we never forget what happened on 9/11 and who is keeping us safe.
Our Troops fight for our freedom and keep us safe.
We should thank our Troops every day and show our support for what they do,because they sacrifice everything for us.
Always remember that.......
It is the SOLDIER, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion. It is the SOLDIER, not the courts who has given us the right to keep and bear arms It is the SOLDIER, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the SOLDIER, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the SOLDIER, not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble. It is the SOLDIER, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the SOLDIER, not the politician, who has given us the right to vote. It is the SOLDIER, who salutes the Flag, and serves under the flag.
So join me in saying........
God bless our Troops!
God bless the USA,the land that I love!
