Actually Brit Hume was on as a guest on another Fox show and said that Clinton had 30 more than Bush (I hope I have that correct.)
Brit also mentioned that although the Democrats were on hiatus, they all seemed to have gotten the same memo about using the "abuse of power" words....since Dodd, Kennedy, et al have all used it today in response to the appointment.
The Democrats aren't very original are they? But they must have one originalists...the guy who sent the memo to the other traitors of our country.
Yeah, that worked so well for the RATS in Texas during redistricting! ha!
Rush was sorta standing up for Frist in that he says that Frist really hasn't changed his stance....like we all are saying he is...BUT,
Rush did admit that Frist wanting FEDERAL FUNDING of ESCR, IS different...which IMHO, is a big deal.
"The storm of hateful rhetoric that Democrats spew at the mention of Mr. John Bolton, comes not from Mr. Boltons inability to dominate the President's adversaries. Nor is it an inability to accomplish his task. It stems from a vengeance for the man who was instrumental in stopping the Bush/Gore Florida Vote Recount. It is not because he is not the best man for the job of UN Ambassador, it is because John Bolton bested the Democrats at their best game. The Democrat's best game? Stealing Elections."
This explains why the hatred of the insane left towards John Bolton was so irrational.
"The Democrats aren't very original are they? But they must have one originalists...the guy who sent the memo to the other traitors of our country."
Actually, the creation of their weekly hate mantra probably comes from a skunkworks with the top elites from the NY Slimes, Washington Compost, LA Slimes, Chicago Tribune, Newsweak/Slime, and of course ABCNNBCBS.
I hate to disagree with Freepers, but I disagree that Frist won't be able to craft a bill that would pass both the House and Senate...
The House (unfortunately) has already passed a bill by a big margin, and already you have had Orrin Hatch, and Specter coming out for it...from the GOP...
I just pray that they won't have enough to override a veto...
Dang---Brit's panel sure is weird tonight...Cece Connolly, blech...Jeff Birnbaum almost blech...but, Krauthammer. YAY!
"Yo, Koffi! Getcher @ss over here--I got sumpin' for ya'!"
Are you intentionally ignoring the answer to your question in post #50? :-)
Bush does it again...he gives the obstructionist socialist his middle finger and appoints BOLTON.... ;o) We out here in America love it!!!
Perky couric gets paid a lot of money to be as dumb as a hoe handle.
Geez... She's no 7 of 9.
And why would these people be conducting any clandestine activities at the UN for us to spy on, when there are plenty of other places they could do it? Do you think it doesn't occur to them that they could be spied on? The fact is, having the UN headquarters in the U.S. gives our enemies more opportunities to spy on us than it gives us opportunities to spy on them.
As another poster commented, you are wasting your font, because you're know you can't think of a good reason for being in the UN, so you try to come up with some vague rationalization to save face for you and your choice of politicians to support. There's nothing more to it than that.
Could you elaborate on that? What do you actually expect the UN to do to us if we withdraw, and withdraw our financial support as well?
I didn't say that. As long as we're in the UN, we need a voice, we can't let the UN run roughshod against us as long as they have a say. Which begs the question, who is in charge of removing us from the UN? How does that process happen?
Pray for W and Our Troops
But that was the point of my question. If we leave the UN, and stop funding them, how exactly are they going to run roughshod against us? How would they even be capable of doing anything to us?
Which begs the question, who is in charge of removing us from the UN?
Congress. There's been a bill that gets reintroduced in the House of Representatives every year for doing just that, and each year it gets more co-sponsors.
Thanks, do you have a link as to how the congress implements the US from disassociating from the UN? I seriously want to know.
