"It's much more important to look at what she does and how she votes, and not that she has associated herself with the DLC," Harold Ickes told the Washington Times on Friday. And that is suppose to reassure the liberals??

This must be a big deal to democrats to inflict one of the larger bore (Harold Ickes) shooters to bear.

Hitlery may be trying to change her spots, but it ain't working. She, along with Kennedy, Kerry, Schumer, Boxer, and all the other moonbat senators, voted no on S.397, the bill to protect gun manufacturers from frivolous lawsuits.

Ickes: Don't worry, fellow socialists, Hillary is faking her centrist views to try to fool the hayseed Red-staters to elect her President. Her ideals will result in a thousand year reign of progressive action, and 100 consecutive TEN YEAR PLAN successes. Stay with us and help us to keep the great secret.

The Clintonista spin machine is winding back up. So to the left, Hillary! is being portrayed as a leftist with a few moderate positions. And to the moderates, Hillary! is being portrayed as a centrist with a few progressive tendencies.
And both are false. Hillary! has no convictions whatsoever other than to get back into the White House.

I still wonder if the left will allow her to keep up her centrist act. It could come down to a choose us or them battle. If they give her an ultimatum, would she cave?
Remember that the left has become so arrogant that her strategy to appeal to the middle will give them feeling of being ignored. I don't think they'll stand for it, her master plan be dammed. They would rather win the battle and lose the war.

Unfortunately, I'm very afraid how Hildabeast (and her entourage of enablers) and the lamestream media will shape this bitch for 2008.
However, there are two things that can derail her relocation back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. 1) She can get brutalized (and it be well documented) by 'whomever' in the 2006 Senate race, and 2) the GOP puts up the Cheney/Rice ticket - which would be (IMHO) unbeatable.

The mastermind of Hillary Clinton's successful 2000 Senate race... Is this any great feat? Did it really take a "mastermind" to engineer Hillary Clinton's victory in 2000? She is the symbol of leftism running in one of the most leftist states in America. She could raise all the money she needed on a national scale.
In fact, I always thought she was a rather poor campaigner.

Progressive is the code word for Neocom (Neo-Communist). Remember Hillary paraphrased Marx in her San Francisco speech a few months ago... (paraphrase) We are going to take more from those of you who enjoy the benefits of our society and transfer to those who don't have as much...
and insure they vote for us because we are the nipple that they suck on for their "success"

Is my memory mixed up or was Ickes busy in 2000 losing to Libby Dole in the North Carolina Senate race? How could he have been Hillary's "mastermind" in her race? Or maybe it was '96 or '98 in NC?
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
I think we can expect to hear over the next couple of years a lot more of this sort of shaving and smoothing of Hillary Clinton's views. It must be kept in mind that Dick Morris - who is in a position to know - said that Hillary Clinton is a doctrinaire left winger.

Television loves Hillary, and that's all that counts. People out here in the real world are tired of W. Unfortunately, that will translate into Democratic votes, instead of a commonsense reassessment of political values.
I've said it before: if the Witch Queen runs, she wins. I've got a standing $50 bet open to anyone on this. I haven't been wrong about a Presidential race since Carter (who could have predicted that?).
