I've got nothing more to add, but the 'birdie' has not steered me wrong yet. I post what I was told for discussions sake, if the Mods dont want it, they know what to do with it.
Caution: Deep breath or deep drink before you read his babble.

Well that was one hell of a trade. Old Arlen caved again to his Democrat "Good Friends".
I sure was hoping and praying that just once in my lifetime I would see a Republican President, a Republican controlled House and a Republican controlled Senate. I guess that was just too much to hope for.
You're crazy if you think he sacrificed his career. The majority of people support Stem Cell research.
Frist has as much chance being President as I do being elected Pope....he is just one of a long line of Republicans who never walk the walk but love to talk the talk....
Dissing his home state is not all that clever - a/la AlGore. Granted, there is a steep learning curve here. The stem cell seems to be the magic that will fix all our woes. It is a huge job to get the truth out on the downside.
Well then Frist was wrong. Roberts is going to get in regardless of any deal.
RIGHT, but you'll only be pulling his lever in a primary...it's going to be Cheney/Rice2008. Take it to the bank!
In the not too distant past, there were good Germans who supported.....uh he who must not be named.
Point is, majority does not equal right
Frist is a "Republican".
To seek any political office as a "Republican" you go first through the Republican Primary not the general electorate. So the public's majority opinion is meaningless. Even more so, it was an issue in the last election and was NOT a primary issue. Nor will it be in '08. Bush won standing against it and Reeve's widow.
The Republican activists that vote in primaries have a large contingent of 'social conservatives'. While not all are against ESCR, the majority are.
Frist has practically no support as it from conservatives. Conservatives see him, generally, as a blank uncharismatic slate that cannot control his Senate the way Delay controls the House.
Up to this point because he is Senate majority leader, people have held their tongues (mostly). Frist has now just aliented fiscal, smaller government and social conservatives with this stance, the last being the main wall protecting his back. All for their own reasoning, in opposition. He has been praised by Reid, Bozer, kennedy, Arlen etc.. the MSM outlets. All repulsive to conservatives.
His politocal career doesn't end just because of this, but it is the final nail.
I FREEAKING LOVE THAT SONG. I remember the first time I heard it, it instantly reminded me of the Pooh Bear nightlite I had in my room 30 years ago. Pooh's smiling face kept me safe in the dark, and whenever I think I might be ready to start screaming...I just make that little birdhouse in my soul....
That's not wierd, is it????
bttt
"it's going to be Cheney/Rice2008. Take it to the bank!"
Let's keep a friendly bet going on that. Cheney will NOT run in 2008!
Might be worth it to get rid of the Curse of the A-Hole...I mean Rod.
Charles Krauthammer, on'Special Report'. said that this had been Frist's position for at least 4 years.
I appreciate it and although I do not speak for Senator Allen, he is a great guy and he is willing to listen and learn. His understanding of stem cells can change a lot as we go forward and I think that he is better on this then the other candidates.
We'll see. I don't think so.
LOL
yeah but you know George is going to want ARod to retire a Yankee....
