We, the undersigned citizens of the United States and the United Kingdom, have recently come to learn of the criminal proceedings against our Danish fellow truth-teller, Mr. Frank Grevil.
As his case has been presented to us, Mr. Grevil is formally being accused of leaking three classified threat assessments to a Danish newspaper in January/February 2004, in order to substantiate claims made verbatim to the same newspaper. These documents demonstrated that his employer at the time, the Danish Defense Intelligence Service, provided unbalanced intelligence on Iraqi weapons of mass destruction prior to the decision of the Danish Parliament to join the so-called "Coalition of the Willing" in March 2003. These documents also showed how the Servicedue to its lack of sourcesbased its threat assessments almost entirely upon similar assessments provided by intelligence agencies in the United States and the United Kingdom, the content of which later turned out to be based on bad intelligence and in some cases even fabricated information.
We have learned that the Danish Parliament has recently taken actions to enhance parliamentary control over the intelligence service, which are clearly attributable to Mr. Grevil's revelations. This lends great credibility to his claims, which deserve in our opinion credit for serving the public interest rather than punishment.
What Mr. Grevil has undertaken reflects in many ways what we have done in our respective countries. With this letter, we want to draw attention to the important role that unauthorized truth-telling plays in a democratic state. In our experience, the proper chain of command often does not work to correct corruption, crimes, lies, cover-ups, or incompetence within state agencies. Disclosing documents without authorization is frequently the only way to expose these abuses or to substantiate verbal allegations about them to the press.
We strongly recommend reevaluating Mr. Grevil's case on the basis that his deed was done unselfishly and conscientiously, in order to strengthen democracy, and government transparency, and true national security.

(Clarification of Coleen Rowley's Signature: "I have signed this letter in support of Danish Major Frank Grevil in my personal capacity and not as a representative of the FBI. I wish to further clarify my view that the propriety of 'unauthorized disclosures,' such as the one Major Grevil made, is limited to only the narrowest of circumstances, to dire situations involving truly unlawful, unconstitutional or deceptive actions on the part of higher government officials entailing life and death consequences, for example, the My Lai massacre or the Abu Ghraib torture incidents. In less serious situations, I believe that the proper and most constructive way of bringing concerns and problems to light is through chain of command and other institutional mechanisms such as Inspector Generals.")

The left will never let him die.
Larry C. Johnson says:
"Some of you have documentation of wrongly concealed facts and analyses that--if brought to light--would impact heavily on public debate regarding crucial matters of national security, both foreign and domestic. We urge you to provide that information now, both to Congress and, through the media, to the public."
But not if this means correcting a lie, such as "Dick Cheney sent me to Niger."
** Where were they when Clinton's Senior Military Aide, Col. Buzz Patterson, was rightfully trying to interrupt Clinton's golf game per Berger's insistence on the phone that a critical target was in sight and they needed his ok ... only to be rebuked with impatience .. with the optimum strike time lost, and with lives and this country's security on the line?
** Where were they when Clinton ignored his presidential obligations to the troops fighting in Kosovo, so he could indulge himself in pathetic sexual romps on the job?
** Where were they when he sold the White House and our security to the foreign agents?
** Where were they when Bernard Schwartz (Loral) gave millions to Clinton for the green light to transfer our priceless technology to the Chinese?
** Where were they when Clinton disemboweled our military force strength and integrity and hamstrung our intelligence agencies?
** Where were they when the 900 FBI files went "missing?"
** Where were they when utter and abject presidential incompetence occurred in the handling of the mission in Somalia, with disasterous results, and giving OBL the perception that we could be rolled .. we were cowards??
How do I define the revulsion their hypercritical, meglomaniacal and dangerous self-serving actions provoke? Let me count the ways.....
So Ellsberg is breaking his decades of silence.
OK.
That's going to bring up skeletons that the Democrats thought were buried long ago.
Whattajoke ... why didn't they just accurately complete the sentence .. "Democrat members of Congress" ... like spies who have decided to forego their sworn oath to protect us from enemies from without and within will approach a Pubbie .. jeesh .. they are lunatics and they think we're that dumb!
Isn't she the one the Dems thought was the smoking gun that would bring down Bush
That is till she started talking at the hearing and sounded like a fool??
Also .. isn't she running for some elected office?
Yep!
And, yeah, she's running, Democratic-Farmer-Labor candidate for US Representative from Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District (aka Communists):
Coleen Rowley will work to change Congress for Minnesota, the United States and the World |
Say no more.
So the left likes whistleblowing, and they want those who blow the whistles put in jail. Oh, wait, they don't, they want all whistleblowers praised except Karl Rove, just because.
I honestly believe that a lot of it is the busted egos and noses completely out of joint from Goss's reorganization ... I think this has hit them hard .. real hard. They've been the elite class for years .. civil servants, protected, arrogant, cocky and controlling. They're holding onto the shreds of their former grandeur. They've been shown the door, marginalized .. their egos are pierced, and the resentment is palpable.
It's just like the Dims .. in power for FORTY YEARS .. and then trashed .. empires lost .. and they realize the prestige and standing they've lost, and now there's desperation .. bitterness .. lashing out to recover that gloss and glitter at ANY cost.
I DO NOT underestimate the Dim PACS and supporters .. they're supplying the $$ for the resources these traitors need... and there's millions and millions of dollars available to anyone who can help facilitate the downfall and destruction of George W. Bush.
Moveon.org - Relationships with Other Organizations
Financial contributors
The San Francisco Foundation Community Initiative Funds, a 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with the San Francisco Foundation, began serving as a fiscal sponsor for MoveOn in 2000, providing a channel through which individuals can make directed, tax-exempt donations to support its work. In 2001, SFFCIF's IRS Form 990 (available from GuideStar.org) show that it provided MoveOn with $17,698 in funding.
Other financial supporters of MoveOn include Iraq Peace Fund, an effort of the Tides Foundation ((((ONE OF TEREZZA HUNT'S FAVORITE CAUSES)))
Richard & Rhoda Goldman Fund
MoveOn's spending as an advocacy group is listed at Open Secrets: Advocacy Group Spending ("data is based on records released by the Internal Revenue Service on Monday, March 08, 2004").
In late 2003, Moveon.org became the subject of controversy when it was discovered that websites outside the United States had been set up for non-US citizens to make donations to MoveOn for the explicit purpose of defeating Bush in the 2004 presidential elections.
Under U.S. law, a presidential campaign cannot legally accept foreign donations. While MoveOn is not bound by this restriction, it nonetheless chose not to accept any more funds from overseas to avoid the perception of impropriety. It has not disclosed how much money it received from overseas before shutting these avenues down.
According to the March 10, 2004, Washington Post, "The Democratic 527 organizations have drawn support from some wealthy liberals determined to defeat Bush. They include financier George Soros and his wife, Susan Weber Soros, who gave $5 million to America Coming Together (ACT) and $1.46 million to MoveOn.org; Peter B. Lewis, chief executive of the Progressive Corp., who gave $3 million to ACT and $500,000 to MoveOn; and Linda Pritzker, of the Hyatt hotel family, and her Sustainable World Corp., who gave $4 million to the joint fundraising committee

And no one comes close to the venom and vitriol of George Soros, nor has anyone else got the disposable funds to finance his obsession: the destruction of George W. Bush:
Soros: Bush Administration
According to Bloomberg news, September 28, 2002, George Soros said that "the final straw came on June 1, 2002, when U.S. President George W. Bush stepped before 989 graduating officers at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York, and changed American foreign policy. The U.S., the president said, would now take offensive military action against any country that it suspected of posing a terrorist threat, a strategy later dubbed the Bush Doctrine."
Soros said the Bush administration "violated human rights and damaged American security by invading Iraq and deposing the regime of Saddam Hussein. 'The idea that we can impose our will on the world is really just the wrong idea,'" he said, vowing "to do everything in his power to prevent Bush from winning re-election.
He "joined forces with Democratic Party allies in organized labor, the environmental movement and women's groups ... [and, in] July 2003, Soros kick-started a network of nonprofit political organizations with an $18.5 million contribution."
According to Byron Wien, senior investment strategist at Morgan Stanley and a close Soros friend, "George was violent on this before a Democratic candidate was even chosen, ... It was anybody but Bush." [2] (http://quote.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=nifea&&sid=aVPlVg8vm8wg)
[edit]Soros: American Supremacy In a March 14, 2003, Op-Ed, Soros compared the Bush administration's "pursuit of American supremacy" to "a boom-bust process or bubble in the stock market." Both, he argued, "have a solid basis in reality but reality is distorted by misconception. In this case, the dominant position of the US is the reality, the pursuit of supremacy the misconception. Reality can reinforce the misconception but eventually the gap between reality and its false interpretation becomes unsustainable. During the self-reinforcing phase, the misconception may be tested and reinforced. This widens the gap leading to an eventual reversal. The later it comes, the more devastating the consequences." [3] (http://www.soros.org/resources/articles_publications/articles/sorosonbush_20030314)
In his book The Bubble of American Supremacy: Correcting the Misuse of American Power, Soros writes that "the Bush administration's foreign policy plans come from the same sort of 'bubble' psychology afflicting U.S. markets in the late 1990s. He says they have used a real fact, overwhelming military supremacy of the United States, to create a deluded worldview that might makes right and 'you're either with us or against us,' in the same way the recent boom used a real fact, the growth in technology, to lead to a delusion, the 'new economy.'" [4] (http://www.ceip.org/files/events/events.asp?EventID=664)
[edit]Soros: War in Iraq
Soros ran full-page ads in major U.S. newspapers challenging the honesty of the Bush administration's case for waging war in Iraq. Ads in The New York Times, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and the Houston Chronicle were titled "When the nation goes to war, the people deserve the truth." Reuters, July 25, 2003 (http://www.truthout.org/docs_03/072703I.shtml).
[edit]Soros: Funding the Opposition
The December 1, 2003, USA Today quoted Soros's worth at "about $7 billion," of which Soros had pledged "$15.5 million to anti-Bush, anti-conservative groups ... giving $10 million to Americans Coming Together, $2.5 million to MoveOn.org, and $3 million to the Center for American Progress." Soros was then in the process of "writing his own anti-Bush book. The Bubble of American Supremacy, a critique of the president's foreign policy," which hit bookstores in January 2004. [edit]Quotes "'If we assess the foreign policy accomplishments of the Bush administration since Sept. 11, the scorecard is quite dismal,' Soros said. 'There are some people in the Bush administration who have the same mentality as Arafat or Sharon. I can name names, like Ashcroft, Cheney and Rumsfeld, although that is considered impolite.'" --George Soros April 9, 2002 (http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/business/personal_finance/3026933.htm).
"'Although the terrorist threat is real, and we must defend against it, we are going about it the wrong way. What makes the situation so dangerous is that nobody dares to say so. The nation is endangered, therefore it is unpatriotic to criticize our leader,' Soros said. 'That is not what has made this country great. The strength of this country lies in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights and the freedom of speech and thought." --George Soros April 9, 2002 (http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/business/personal_finance/3026933.htm).
"'It is the central focus of my life,' Soros said, his blue eyes settled on an unseen target. The 2004 presidential race, he said in an interview, is 'a matter of life and death.'" --George Soros, November 11, 2003 (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A24179-2003Nov10?language=printer).
====================================================
I hardly think Soros' obsession has diminished at all, even though he didn't get his wish for "anyone but Bush" for President.
===================================================
How could these rogue traitors possibly know what the intel is and what Bush and Goss know? They're out of the loop. And yet, they keep hinting they're getting info from their contacts "on the inside," which means active employees are committing treason, too. This is only going to spur on Bush, Negroponte and Goss to clamp down even more and possibly (hopefully) Fitzgerald.
Bottom line: there's the war on terrorism, and the war that's raging at the CIA and FBI .. .. and our security is held hostage in the middle.
Notice that they start their "truth-telling" off with a series of blatant lies:
"It is time for unauthorized truth-telling.
Citizens cannot make informed choices if they do not have the facts--for example, the facts that have been wrongly concealed about the ongoing war in Iraq: the real reasons behind it, the prospective costs in blood and treasure, and the setback it has dealt to efforts to stem terrorism."
No facts were wrongly concealed. We were told the reasons behind the war. The costs in blood and treasure have been far less than the MEDIA predicted. And it seems to me that it was anything but a setback in stemming terrorism. There has been no terrorism in the US since.
But it's okay if they lie. It's for a very high purpose. Selling out our country.
Why are they butting into something in Denmark? What is this...the INTERNATIONAL BUSYBODY ORGANIZATION ?
I think you are right. I think in a way it is even more simple than what you outline (though I agree you're correct).
But read what is said by these people. Ellsberg is the real tipoff. They ALL want to recreate the situation of the Vietnam War. That is the dream.
And why not? For them it was a halcyon time. The US lost a war. A Republican President was impeached. Communism advanced everywhere. A string of truly idiotic Democrat Presidents and legislatures was ushered in.
For them it all means "Good Times." They want to bring them back again.
"Why are they butting into something in Denmark? What is this...the INTERNATIONAL BUSYBODY ORGANIZATION?"
As long as they can help traitors hurt this country, they will go anywhere.
"Have treason, will travel."
I had to live through this once...isn't that enough?
bttt
Abigail Adams was correct, in telling her husband that we need a sedition Act and doing away with it later, has harmed this nation.
