Natalee Holloway and friends in Aruba 5/30/05
RGVVTx I have pretty much ALWAYS believed that when push came to shove, Joran and Daddy would attempt to pin this crime on the Kalpoe bothers!! First it was the black security guards and now the Kalpoe brothers. Paulus VDS is a slimeball and his son is a spoiled brat who I would suggest has been bailed out before!!
I guess you're right. It was meant as a little comic relief, I suppose, but you are not amused. Oh well. No more Hillary stuff.
FYI
That new show - "Over There" is on right now on FX. - I thought it might interest you if you have FX on your TV.
It is a pilot series of our soldiers in Iraq.
Thank you!
Hey onyx, your probably right!!
Yes. Arlene Ellis-Schipper is quite pretty. Beautiful eyes.
Sorry, cc, just replying.
Back to the shoe.
LOL - make that "screw up"!! I'm getting tired. *grin*
some hi-lights from the LK show...
HENRY LEE, FORENSIC SCIENTIST: It's pretty easy to -- you know, they did the correct decision to drain the pond instead of dredge the pond. When you drain the pond, once the water gone, we can grade it out, grading, and look at it one grid at a time.
Look at given no bodies, maybe on a row (sic) of tape, or maybe a weapon or something, you can look at it carefully, meticulously, systematically look at everything, because that's the second possible piece of a puzzle.
The first piece, of course, the tape with some blonde hair. Now this location, if we search carefully, either find her body or eliminate her body wasn't there. Under the water, the body, if buried, actually in favor, protect the body. Decomposition is going to be delayed.
KING: T.J. Ward, I would imagine -- I know how thorough you are, you know about this pond. What are your thoughts?
T.J. WARD, P.I. FOR HOLLOWAY TWITTY FAMILY: Well, one of the things that I figure that the witness that I found saw the car that was used in the disappearance and on the 28th, 29th and 30th. And it just seemed a little strange to me that a week later the same car shows up three or four times in the same area around that pond.
Those boys were there looking for something. And there's a good possibility that the body could be buried, because there was very, very little water in there around the 29th and 30th of May, and shortly before the storm hit and the hurricane, that's what caused all the water to be there.
And it's very soft and very easy to dig and put somebody underground there. But like Dr. Henry Lee says, it would be very, very good if the body is there, that it would be preserved by the ground itself if it is underground.
see post 1,948 - I got the spelling of your name wrong the first time
hmmm....Jug talking about his relationship with Natalee sounded kind of odd to me. Is he saying she had to really work hard to please him...to live up to his tough standards that he placed on his own two kids?
And I wish LK had gone back to him about people being fired. He said the reporter was wrong, but no follow up. grrrr
I have been reading "Destination Morgue" by James Ellroy who discusses unsolved REAL murder investigations. Sadly, this story is beginning to resemble a James Ellroy murder mystery.
Hopefully, they will find evidence of what happened to Natalee soon and, if murder was involved, the evidence to prosecute. It does seem that Juran is the likely suspect with his father as a co-conspirator or accomplice. Who knows how the Kalpoes fit in - involved in the crime or simple dupes? Now that the FBI is there, things are beginning to happen, but it may be too late.
It was said tonight on one of the shows, that Deepak was im-ing by around 3:15 am.
It was confirmed apparently, they have knowledge of the other guy he was im-ing -- it wasn't said who that person is.
Whoever it was said that he had enough time to get home and get on his computer by 3:15 am.
Oops, from post 1940:
"In Aruba is Peter Mohammed, a member of the Aruban law firm representing the Holloway and Twitty families."
I sure miss an old friend at times like this.
Thank you.

RE: The series "Over There" on the FX station
Tonight was the pilot - the pilot is on a few more times over the next week (check your listings). The next one in the series will be on at 9pm central time next Wednesday.
I recorded it and watched some of it tonight (will watch the rest of it later when I don't have to watch it before bed time.) - all I can say is wow, rough and fairly real - war is never pretty. - no other real judgement on it as of yet, only that I could have lived without all the "sex" scenes in it.
I am going to crash... have good evening and morning. I still have not figured out when you actually sleep.
Believable scenario there!
Google God would be a very welcome friend for this case....what a time we had! Very special to me...
I was afraid to watch it. 100% of the SUPERLATIVE reviews in their ad in today's paper were from very leftwing sources (NYT, SF Chronicle, etc). I figured it was a "praise the troops but disparage their C in C" type of thing. Let us know what you think.
