FYI

That new show - "Over There" is on right now on FX. - I thought it might interest you if you have FX on your TV.

It is a pilot series of our soldiers in Iraq.

I was afraid to watch it. 100% of the SUPERLATIVE reviews in their ad in today's paper were from very leftwing sources (NYT, SF Chronicle, etc). I figured it was a "praise the troops but disparage their C in C" type of thing. Let us know what you think.

I didn't watch the program, but last night on Fox, on one of the shows that has viewer comments at the end, some fool wrote in complaining about how this new show was taking advantage of soldiers in Iraq to promote the war or some such nonsense.

Have people never seen any old WWII movies? There were very few 40s movies that did not touch on the theme of soldiers at war or returning home or various other stories about the war. I suppose all those old movies were promoting WWII.
