I do not know what religion the Kalpoes are. But here is AVDS's statement in her interview with Greta.

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT: We asked the police to talk to her at the beginning already, but they said, No, better don't do this, and it's all too emotional, and you don't know what happened. But I knew that this is a mom, too, and she's in pain. She suffers. She doesn't have her child yet. And I just wanted to hold her. She's always welcome here. I know she prays at the same site where I pray. It's a beautiful site on the island. And it hurt me to see her during this process. It takes such a long time. And day by day, we're trying to get through day by day. But I still have my son. And although very difficult, there's not one moment, not one second, that I don't think about her or Natalee.

I pulled my little happy angel from the Christmas storage box, and it's burning in my room with Natalee's picture in front of it. We just feel for her and for the rest of the family.

re: Death penalty and jury trial ... no jury trial. single judge. appeals panel is three judges from curacao. then to Holland to Supreme Court. Procedural appeals only... like in US.

TJ does not know if DL has been found.

TJ: Her bag was packed and ready to go.

Jug: She only had her DL

Beth: yes. EVERYTHING ELSE was packed and ready to go. She only had her DL. She was going out. But it was okay for her to be there. She was legal age. Joran was not of Legal age.

Jug: (kind of angry) Let me answer that. No she did not go out and party at home. But Aruba is different. The problem is that you go to a place lke C&C's get served but as little girls arent prepared.

I heard that PVDS could draw a check until Jan 1st, 2006 for his duties as a substitute judge. Don't know if they'll use him or not, but he can evidently draw a salary from his contract.

TJ - they looked for security cams and knocked on doors. (didn't say if they found anything)

LEE on DNA tests:

Can usually exclude DNA donors within minutes. Lee thinks the hairs may be similar to NH's to justify a week of study. If Mitochondrial DNA indicates positve, it will take longer. again says Weapons may be in the pond.

Also advises the family to examine what is missing from her luggage?

I really believe Natalee's classmates know a heck of a lot more than they've said publicly. And Beth and Jug likely know what those students know and that's why the Twitty's have been so sure about many things from the get go.

I think that's part of the Twitty's big expose they refer to from time to time.

TJ - Thinks PVDS is involved. Aruban police think he may be too.

Susan Candiotti: Unusual to see the Kalpoes released. But there wasn't enough evidence. Must be careful how we treat everyone because no one has been charged.

Mohammed: The prosecution indicated PVDS was involved. Free to walk isnt off-the-hook.

That kind of rape is surely metaphorically murder. I think any rape is a kind of murder.

But it is no metaphor when you have a truly dead person in front of you rather than a passed out girl who can't remember anything when she wakes up.

I am mostly addressing the debate over whether the amigoes were cool and collected killers or impulsive, angry, violent teens who went too far and were suddenly without plan facing a dead body.

You see I don't think they planned to kill her. I think they planned to degrade her and enjoy themselves and have somethiing to brag about.

Just a thought here. Could those criminals have been circling the Raquet Club waiting for PVDS as he could have Nat in his rental home or at JVDS's apartment? Maybe..

I do not know that PVDS has a rental home.

PVS cleared out his desk yesterday. I feel he was asked to leave - along w/his friend and Joran's godfather, COP, then add the 2 week vacation for prosecutor. I believe their motherland got involved and are clearing the deck. To save face, it's being said it's all their idea.

And The Netherlands then allowed the FBI to enter in.

Walsh on H&C: Walsh talked to BHT today. This BS they'e feeding us ... the Dutch lab is probably the size of the men's room at Fox news ...
combination of incompetence and corruption ... wants to know how many people are really missing in Aruba ...

H: What do you think happened? i think the VDS kid is dirty. The fact that they're making up lies, you don't do that when people are hurting ...

W: Did you do an organized grid search? I've been involved in so many cases where the body is found within one mile of the crime scene. The police don't know how to do an investigation. They run from one side of the island to the other ... They had that window of opportunity to split the brothers up and bring in some skilled interrogators. Classic case of not reaching out, wanting this case to go away. God Bless BHT and the family or we wouldn't be talking about this. This was a beautiful young girl ... they didn't even start looking really until ten days ago when ES arrived. Good cops will say I'm over my head, i need help. BHT is in hell because she's trying to get these cops to do their job ... to make her apologize, it's a bunch of BS ... it's almost arrogant the way they've handled this ... all these other governments gethelp with terrorism ... too little to late ... odds are she's someone on the island dead
