I was minding my own business this morning just before lunch and driving to the video store to return a few movies. The travel show was on, and the hosts were discussing the bombing in Egypt.

The male host, name unknown to me, was discussing how nice the resorts are at Sharm el Sheik. Then he talked about the "idiot" who denotated a bomb "for reasons only known to him."

I couldn't take it. We hear lots of crap on television, see it on the lefty-dominated press, and see it on insane websites. But they are not going to do this on our home court --- talk radio.

I got right through to the show and let them know that I didn't want to go on the air but wanted a message passed to the clueless host. It was not an idiot -- it was a terrorists. The reasons are not unknown -- they want to destroy Western Civilization.

Within a minute the host got the message and mentioned it on the air. He got the point.

They have the schools, the colleges, the network news, the magazines, the government organizations, the unions, and the major newspapers. They are not going to get away with this nonsense on the venue that belongs to us, talk radio.

I'm glad to see that the host repeated your statement on the air, and thanks for keeping these people honest.

But I wonder if anyone called after you did to argue with the host that these people are not "terrorists", they're "rebels". And the reason they're blowing people up is to defend themselves against "Western imperialism".
