Gregory is on MTP huh???

Well, since he is obviously no longer a reporter, but a clear anti-Bush partisan, I guess that is a more appropriate place for him now that I think about it. The little weasel.

Thus far I'm very disatisfied with the Republican response on the issue of releasing Robert's memos, research and writings when he was Solicitor General/White House Counsel.

Though most Americans are familiar with attorney client privilege, I doubt that they think of the president as the "client" in this case. That needs to be driven home. Explain that such memos are the background for eventual legal positions. I.e., they contain legal arguments which may or may not have ever seen the light of day in a given case. The public has no right to know the give and take which results in the final legal argument...they only have the right to know the argument that is put forth in court.

I'm not saying it very well...Fred Thompson could surely put it better. But they need to get THAT simple for people to understand why the WH is not turning over his working papers.

"Durbin is a hypcrite, and a pandering wuss."

He's worse than that. From his comments this morning, obviously the very thought of killing unborn babies gives the guy deep satisfaction (if not orgasm), and the thought that more laws might be passed enabling euthenasia is probably what keeps this talking POS in office.

And I won't even mention he traitorous comments about Gitmo...

Oddly, a few weeks ago I heard Hume ask him something along the the lines of "Since you're a personal friend of Clarence Thomas, do you think he would be able to be confirmed in the Senate today? "

May sound strange, but Thomas is godfather of Williams' children. Also odd, Williams was fired from Wash.Post for sexual discrimination charges.

True. Sorry I left Mort out. For a mostly liberal journalist, he's refreshing in telling the truth.

Bolton should be at the UN in a couple of weeks. He will not be weakened because he has majority support in the Senate and the full backing of the President.

Oh, I hope so. The wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Left will be music to our ears.

"Justice O'Connor is still sharp!"

No, Justice O'Connor is a blithering sexist fool, whining that the number of women on the bench has now been reduced by half.

I am disappointed the three potentially interesting matchups did not occur because the guests appeared separately. Thompson/Durbin faceoff would have been great.

I think he gets "combat pay" from the DNC for reading their talking points on FoxNews.

Well that is a fact, whether or not I care is a different story. I was not endorsing her views, just pointing out that her mind is still sharp.

I just watched it. Durbin seemed to be struggling to come up with something against Roberts. I don't think he did.
I'll tell you NautiNurse after last weeks expose I will be watching Fat tim very closely, never did trust him,. And I think Rush is changing his mind as well.

Without Rush tomorrow it will be interesting to see if any of the talkies come up with today's "stalking points" quote, great quote.

I have to say I respect Mort, although I often disagree with him. He is fair and I appreciate that. He's my "go-to" pundit when I'm looking for less partisan information.
