The first time terrorist sets of a nuclear device in the U.S., and there is a very good chance it's going to happen in one of our larger cities, attitudes will change. The first liberal who stands up and says we don't need to over react will probably shot on site. Liberals will be hard to find for a long, long time.

Capital idea!!!
1. They only understand force and power.
2. Maybe the "90%" of mohammedans who aren't pro-terror will get off their chicken-sh*t a$$e$ and reign in the kooks.

Tancredo's statement was a tactical and strategic mistake. It would have been better to let the muslims worry about mecca and medina rather than have all of these official statements condemning the idea. Also, it makes us look weak if we don't attack the next time a bomb goes off, which we won't. The guy acted foolishly and put us all in a tougher position for no apparent gain. That's a fool in my book

Or haven't you heard? Tancredo thinks maybe the United States should bomb Mecca. You know Mecca. I suspect Leonard Pitts is not a complete idiot, else he would not be holding down a full time job.
But I'm sure he knows that what he wrote is not factual. Close, but not quite correct.
Tancredo was bushwacked, and his only sin is his inability to realize that he had been bushwacked.
The only winning hand in any response might have been total silence.
But I could have fun even with that response, if I wanted to imitate a clever "progressive"...

Recently a Chinese General threatened to respond with nuclear weapons if America intervened in a conflict over Taiwan. Reckless, irresponsible statement? A propaganda disaster, tactical and strategic mistake? Perhaps.
But it also plants a seed of doubt; indecision.
Would they do it?
A similar seed needs to be planted in some Islamic minds.
Not only the terrorists who want to explode devices in 7 major cities and kill 4 million Americans, but more importantly, in their their "controller's" minds.
The people who are really calling the shots, be they Saudis, Iranians, Pakistanis, Iraqis, or whatever, need to know that their plans may put in motion events that could have profoundly negative consequences, despite the appearance of "plausible deniability" that they hide behind.

Guys like Pitts don't matter any more. They think, talk and write for others like themselves....sort of a Mutual Admiration/Masturbation Society.

Thanks for posting this.
The more exposure Tancredo gets, the more support he gets. Circumstances and history are on his side.

We've heard a louder scream of pain from you over Tancredo's remarks than we have heard from the Islamofascists.
That's both sad and telling.

Perhaps some would be shocked to hear that I have many neighbors, some who are self professed liberals who are saying the very same thing. Enough is enough.
